As
I listen to mainstream media subtly and not so subtly malign
Wesley Clark, it reinforces my opinion that the Bush administration
is worried that Clark has entered the fray! Listening to
the pundits and so called analysts post debate, I wondered if
they saw the same debate that I did. It was my opinion that any
one of the nine candidates participating in the debate outshines
Dumbya and would be a far better president for these United States.
It's laughable when mainstream media attempts to put the Democrats
down, when it's evident that these nine candidates are more intelligent,
more caring, and certainly more informed than Dumbya.

Frankly,
I don't think it makes any difference if Valerie Plame was
a covert operative or a soda jerk at the local drug store --
the Bush administration made a decision to go after a family
member
of someone who called attention to White House lies and this
is intolerable! The Bush Administrations' actions are the
lowest of the low and proves they are despicable.
If they can do this to her, that means they will do it to anyone.
It makes one wonder if they would convict
the innocent! This White House has
endangered the security and the lives of all Americans for
revenge on a
man who simply told us the truth!

MEMO
TO ALL ELECTED DEMOCRATS: Better check your office, home, and automobiles
for the Ashcroft Justice Department's FBI bugs.
Remember that if these guys question your patriotism, under the
new Patriot Act you are fair game for bugging. It's a matter of
your
safety and
security. Next thing you know, Democrats will start disappearing
en masse and find themselves in Cuba without benefit of due process.
This
certainly
would be the
culmination of the Bush dream -- judge, jury, executioner, and dictator!

"When
you hide a leaker, and when you feed a leaker, you're just as guilty
as the leaker" -- statements made that should be heeded by
the moron who calls himself president. Americans must never forget
the lessons of September 11. We must remember, the security of
the American people is in the hands of a madman who protects those
who would commit treason and jeopardize our future.

It
seems the electorate of the members of the Bush "coalition"
are not happy after learning of the lies told to gain
public support for an unnecessary war. England's Blair and
Australia's Howard have been severely criticized for jumping
on the Bush
bandwagon. How long can Bush maintain a coalition of the unwilling?
How long is it going to take Americans to realize, thanks to
George, we're in this thing alone and we and we alone will
be paying, in lives and money, for his folly?

If
you ever had any hope that Osama and Saddam would be found
and punished -- FORGET IT. This administration can't even
find "leakers" when
they're sitting right under their noses in the White House!
What's happened to that "Dead or Alive" and "Bring
'em on" bravado? Where's that "Mission Accomplished" arrogance
now? Guess there's really no need to worry about capture
when you're a Bush Repuglican terrorist!

As
I listen to the varied reasons for Californians voting to recall
Gray Davis, I can't help but remember that the Democrats warned
this nation if we continued on the Bush economic path these are
the
things that would happen. "Trickle down" has had a negative
effect on the general public -- instead of creating jobs and improving
our straits, it has managed to trickle down tax increases at the
local level for those least equipped financially to pay those increases.
The Bush answer to the woes of this nation has only served to create
more problems for average Americans. It's time to wake up and smell
the disaster created by the Bush tax cuts and his war mongering.
Under the Bush plan, average Americans will find their wallets
empty while wealthy Americans are adding to their bank accounts.

Schwarzenegger's
win = California's loss. Let's see how fast he'll accept a
settlement in the California lawsuit with Enron. Then perhaps the
citizens
of California will realize exactly how much was lost. *

My
only questions regarding the Schwarzenegger win in Kaleefornia
-- how many touch screen voting machines without a paper trail
were
used in this election? Was this a test to see if conservative
mainstream media, reporting psychologically positive news,
combined with questionable voting machinery could convince
the country
that a "win" was legitimate? Was last night a precursor
for the 2004 election? Knowing they cannot get away with
another SCOTUS selection have they found another way to steal
the presidency?

It
seems that moral and legal indignation are good for the Repuglicans
only when it's aimed at the Democrats. Stealing the presidency,
ignoring
intelligence warnings that resulted in the tragedy of 9-11, bald
faced lies to go to war where thousands died and are dying, treason,
drug abuse, and serial sexual harassment are all A-OK for this
party of underhanded hypocrites as long as the perpetrators are
of Repuglican
persuasion. I just have to wonder if the above list could include
murder -- Mel Carnahan's and Paul Wellstone's deaths leave us with
a lot of questions.

CNN's
answer to Rush Limbaugh -- Jack Cafferty! I finally had my
fill of his hateful diatribe and switched the channel because I
could
no
longer stomach his mean back biting comments. It's commentary
like his that have contributed to CNN's dip in the ratings. This
isn't
news, this is tabloid gotcha nasty and it's intolerable. No
wonder Ted Turner left CNN. *

It's
your money and Bush is spending it. Rather than have
the UN weapons inspectors return to Iraq -- familiar territory
for
them -- and continue their hunt for WMDs, George Bush is requesting
another $600 million dollars for Poppy's friend David Kay
to continue traipsing
around the countryside looking for those illusive weapons.
An imminent threat? HA! It's now been six months and no
weapons have
been found! Face it America, we have a bunch of thieves
and liars in high government office spending our money so their
friends
and relatives can get even richer than they are already.

Arnold's
apology shows how he really feels about women -- "I'm sorry
IF I offended anyone." IF? I don't think there's
an if in it -- he was offensive, he was boorish, and his sexual
misconduct was
unwelcome. And to pass it off as "playful behavior on a rowdy
movie set" only adds insult to injury. The man has no business
running for political office. In fact, his behavior should be seriously
investigated, and charges brought in a court of law.

As
his "poetry" reveals, Bush isn't any better a poet
than he is a president. I suppose this ode to Laura was what
initiated the right wing comments about presidential intelligence
not
necessarily
being a good thing. I would be inclined to agree with those who
think this poem cute and endearing, that is, if we were talking
about a 5-year-old's kindergarten poem for mom and not a grown
man who
sits in the
Oval Office. If, perhaps, they were attempting to compare
him with Reagan, it failed! |
