A collection
of insightful ruminations, reflections, and rants on the events of
the
day (with the exception of the weekend). We'll collect a week's worth
here and then archive them. Come visit each weekday to see what's

While
I have great respect for former
Senator Sam Nunn, it is my opinion
the only distorted intelligence
in the USA is perched in the Oval
Office, and that doesn't take a
whole lot of investigating to discover.
All one has to do is listen to
his
lies and observe his actions and
you will know he isn't operating
with a full deck. Investigating
the failures that are taking place
in this country could begin and
end with the moron who dreams of
being a dictator.

This
administration has established "Free
Speech Zones" in order to
hide dissent from the general
public and perpetrate the myth
that the
majority of Americans love George.
Mainstream media continues to
relay skewed poll numbers and
approval
ratings in order to maintain
the fantasy. Lately, even some
of the
most die hard Repugs I know don't
approve of what he's doing to
our beloved America. My hope
is that
there will remain some semblance
of America after Dumbya's been "given
enough rope to hang himself."

It
will most certainly be the
biggest dance around the truth
ever produced
-- "The
Big Dance," a fantasy tale
of the Bush run for a hidey
hole on 9/11. Give me a break,
haven't Americans
been inundated enough with the
bull from this White House? Thank
the Lord I don't have Showtime
or I would be forced to cancel
that option on cable! All this "make
him credible" bull is beginning
to make me nauseous.

Frankly,
even with the most organized
issue-oriented campaign, even
with God on the side of
the American people, we will not
prevail in
the 2004 election unless
and until something is done about
those touch screen voting
machines!
They are election slot
machines
programmed to favor the
current administration. Even the
Bushies cannot get away with
a
blatant
robbery again, so the next
best thing is the appearance
of winning.
Don't think for one minute
they intend to return America
to the
people, not when they can
loot the treasury and destroy
democracy. This bunch of thugs
are on
a roll and they will do anything
for power.

I
agree that America needs some fresh
blood in the body politic, and that
a third or even fourth party may have
merit. I just hope we have a democratic
country left in which to vote. The
way the Bushies are charging ahead
with everything designed to undermine
our way of life, thanks to the last
election, we may find ourselves in
a hole so deep and wide we'll never
see daylight again. *

What's
it gonna take for the "sleeping
giant" to awaken this
time? How long are we going
to put
up with the "Fleecing
of America"? George
Bush stole the presidency,
now he's
stealing
our future! Slumbering in
apathy is no longer an option
if Americans
intend to reap the rewards
of hard work. Do we really
want
to live in a country where
a moron undermines all that
was
good? Do we want the "elite" to
dictate to the masses what
we can and cannot do? When
you deprive
the poor and give to the
rich, I really don't believe
that
God will bless!

The
strategy of ambushing and killing
American soldiers one by one is
a repeat of the tactics employed
by terrorists in Afghanistan during
the Russian occupation. It doesn't
take a rocket scientist to figure
it out. Wouldn't you think the
so-called experienced leaders of
the only remaining superpower
would have anticipated
such
things? Wouldn't you
think they would have been better
prepared for the aftermath?

BUSH
AND HIS ADMINISTRATION HAVE
NO SHAME! They will lie to the
American
people and cover it up with
more lies. The man who promised
to "change
the tone" in Washington
has made a mockery of Democracy!
He
will shed a tear and proclaim
patriotism, even while sending
the youth of
America to die in an unnecessary
war waged for personal greed
and revenge. He is a cheerleading
snake oil salesman without an
ounce
of
compassion or justice.

They've
done it again! All the
hullabaloo over Jayson Blair's
problems
with the truth has managed
to shift the focus away from
the
Bush lies regarding war
with Iraq! The cathartic admission
about a single reporter's
plagiarism is to make the public
believe that journalistic
errors
will be exposed.
Again a bunch of bull from
mainstream media to cover
their
ass. The American people
deserve the truth: we should
know why 9-11 happened;
we should know why no WMDs have
been found
in Iraq; and we should
know
why this administration was
aided and
abetted in the theft of
the presidency and allowed to run
amok on the
world.

Seems
George Bush has gained more from
Iraq than oil! The Saddam Principle
is at work right here in America!
Using the people's money to further
a goal of domination is not exclusive
to Third World tyrants, we're
living it from sea to shinning
sea. Give the masses a few pennies
for existence, scare the hell out
of them, then use the rest of the
treasury for personal goals and
a lavish financial well lifestyle.
It's a page from the Saddam book
for
dummies, and our current dummy
has learned his lesson well.

"He's
defending his legacy," they
say,
with a
negative
psychological intent, about
everything said or done recently
by President Bill Clinton!
I don't
see George
Bush as
articulate
or responsive
to any spontaneous or planned
gathering as Bill Clinton.
It takes finesse and intelligence
to stand before a crowd and
engage
them, without tears, and
convey a message. It takes
a man greater
than Bush. Clinton's legacy
of creating a better America
surpasses
everything we've seen from
the current administration. |
