A collection

here and then archive them. Come visit each weekday to see what's

Someone
must question aloud the compassion
and/or the sanity
of a man who would proceed with a
war in which he knows hundreds, if
not thousands, of innocent lives
will be lost, especially when there
are
more peaceful means available to
settle the dispute. How compassionate
or sane is "collateral
damage" when disarmament of
the Iraqi regime could have been
accomplished by inspections?
The argument that Saddam was given
12 years to comply with regulations
and it's time he's stopped goes against
logic -- Saddam has been successfully
contained for 12 years, and to rid
the world of one madman is not worth
the loss in innocent human lives
or the many difficulties that will
follow the aftermath of war. Contrary
to popular opinion, it's only just
begun.

Perhaps
GOP Senators should volunteer
to take a cut in salary
to show their support for the
war effort.
Senator Ted Stevens could
be first in that patriotic line,
especially since he suggested
that New York's cops and firefighters
work
overtime
without compensation to
support
the war. How ludicrous! The monetary
compensation these
public servants currently
receive does not equal their dedication
to public service, nor
does it
pay for the dangers inherent
in the job. To suggest
they do it for nothing is a slap
in
the
face.

Flash
back: not only were the citizens
of California gouged
during a manipulated "energy crisis," but
Enron and companies were allowed to
do it by
Cheney and his gang because they refused
to step in and stop it.
Was this payback because California
went Democratic and/or because Enron
donated big bucks to the Bush/Cheney
Campaign? How much gouging can our
country take from this gang of thieves
before someone finally says, "Enough's
enough"? *

The
current BS coming from the Repuglican
party -- protesting the protestors
-- is a good example of "they
can dish it out, but they can't take
it." They are the most thin-skinned
bunch of skin flints ever to come
down the pike. It's alright
for them to smear, scandal, and sleaze,
but God help those who would offer
an informed opposing opinion.
The right wing whackos will bring
out
the "machine" to
mow down, out maneuver, out talk,
and overwhelm free speech whenever
and wherever they perceive opposition.
And if that fails, then by God, they
will bring out the Bible, fall back
on the Lord and argue that they are
doing work ordained in heaven. It's
amazing how hypocrisy, lies, cheating,
and downright mean behavior have
become heavenly grace from God.

While
the sons and daughters of America
are giving up their lives on
the battlefield, we can rest assured
that Bush is feeling the pain
of
battle. He is giving up sweets
during this
time of extreme sacrifice. Sweets,
as opposed to life -- I fail
to see the parallel, but then this
is
Bush
and abstinence from the luxuries
of life is, for the moron, the
ultimate display of support.

Osama's
goal has been achieved
not by Al-Qaida, but by the
seemingly
naive and really stupid
Dumbya. A Holy War has been declared
and it's coming to fruition
-- whose God is better, yours
or
mine? This war has been
fought before, but, thankfully,
in the end wiser men decided
that each
side had the right to chose.
Then like now, though,
many innocent people were caught
in the middle
and died needlessly.

To
all those who believe in conversion
of the Middle-East, just pause for
one minute and think about how you
would feel if a group of so called "evil-ones" arrived
on your shores with an invading force
equivalent to the might of the American
Armed Forces, and declared they
intend to convert you to their religion!
You wouldn't like it would you? Just
like they don't -- and you wonder
why they hate us?

A
leader determined by fixed elections,
a nation possessing WMD, a military
better funded and better equipped
than the collective public, an
inner circle of a select group
of like
minded ideologues, a desire to
rule the world, a determination
to use
whatever means necessary to accomplish
pre-set goals, a distrust of
the general public, attempts to maintain
control with threats and bribery,
and a trend to familial involvement
in all branches of government.
If you think this is about Saddam,
think
again, this is Bush conquering
America and on the road to world
domination.

There
is something obscene about
a man who admits he has not
lost any
sleep from bringing massive
death and destruction to innocent
people.
He is either too stupid to
realize the implication of this
statement, he has no conscience whatsoever,
or both.

It
is abominable that our troops who
died serving their country will not
get an Honor Guard reception at Dover
Air Force Base upon their return
home. They have given their lives
to fight Bush's war, and he will
not give them the respect they deserve!
Does he really believe "out
of sight, out of mind"? The
least this country can do for our
sons and daughters who have fallen
in combat is an Honor Guard return
home. It is the patriotic thing to
do. To hell with saving face and
perpetuating myths, it's time to
take a stand and give something back
to those who have given everything
for us. Insist on respect and dignity
by insisting on a proper burial for
those we love.

CNN
isn't interested in delivering
the news, just being
cheerleaders for the Bush
administration. Paula Zahn, Wolf
Blitzer, and
Aaron Brown fall all over
themselves to be first to the microphone
to sing praises for the inept
Bushies. They don't
realize that the constant
barrage
of blow hard bull spewing
from
their moronic repetitive
mouths makes them look just like
Dumbya.

Well
folks, we are now facing
eternal war, economic disaster, and
the
hatred of most of the rest
of the world. Just who can
we thank
for this kettle of worms?
None other than the BOLD Repuglican
party and it's BOLD leader, of
course.
With each and every blunder
made by
Dumbya, and supported by
the Repugs, the mainstream media,
and
the
rest of the right wing whackos,
we grow closer to unilateral
isolation.
A mighty military and a
bullying
administration does nothing
to win friends or influence people.
You know you're in real trouble
when Mexico and Canada
say no!

Amazing!
Now that we haven't seen the Iraqi's
greeting the troops with the predicted "flowers
and song," and we are realizing
this war is not the "cakewalk" we
were promised, Donald Rumsfeld is all
over the airwaves telling us how General
Tommy Franks has a good plan, that
the plan -- Tommy Frank's plan -- has
not changed,
that General Frank's plan is flexible,
yadda, yadda, yadda. Sounds like a
weasel
attempting to shift responsibility
for the catastrophe he created! The
man has outlived his usefulness, if
ever he was useful. It's time for resignation
and fading away to wherever millionaires
go when they've screwed up royally.
*
* *
We
are now hearing that Saddam is
not important -- it's the Iraqi regime
Bush wants to change! Is this like
when he watered down the focus
in
Afghanistan
from
Osama to simply
Al
Qaeda? Funny
how this administration
changes the goal to
fit the screw up! How long is it
going to take the American people
to wake
up? How long are we to endure the
disaster created by thieves?

UNBELIEVABLE!
Every time I read a new piece of
the Bush Iraqi
policy, I wonder how can one man be
so dumb? The latest tidbit is that
Franklin
Graham (son of Billy) is poised and
ready with
an army of "relief workers" to
go into Iraq to serve the physical and
spiritual needs of the Iraqi people.
Franklin admits he can't whip out the
gospel and start preaching in an Arab
country, but "as we work, God will
give us opportunities to tell others
about His son, we want to reach out to
love them and SAVE them in the name of
Jesus Christ." That should really
give Osama, the Mullahs, and the rest
of the Muslim world something to discuss.
This is the man who called Islam a "wicked
religion" and I really don't believe
the Iraqi's will be welcoming him with
flowers and song! |
