February 7, 2003

ORANGE ALERT -- As he increases the troops to fight Iraq, he puts us here at home in greater danger. His idiotic approach has brought evil to our shores. His lack of intelligence, while conducting the business of this country, has put us all in jeopardy. He has not a clue about how to be a president, he only knows how to seek revenge and profit.

* * *

When are Americans going to wake up to the facts? While the Repuglicans like to strut around telling us all they have the answers for the economy and everything American, the majority of Americans must tighten their belts and work longer hours (those who have jobs) just to survive. It is not class warfare to point out that under a Repuglican regime, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer (especially when you are at the bottom of the equation). That's not "class warfare," that's the truth, which is not part of the Repuglican "repertoire."

* * *

Bush isn't ignoring North Korea, his pea brain cannot focus on more than one thing at a time. Right now, attacking Iraq is all he's capable of handling. He'll get to North Korea after he's finished with Iraq, so he's said. We can all sit back and relax, and hope that North Korea does not follow through with their threats, because hope is all we have with Bush as president. The child posing as a man is incapable of leadership. Like a child, he stomps his feet whining and screaming for what he wants, disregarding all else.

* * *

To all those who were praying for a peaceful solution to the insanity: beware the lunatic who is marching us into war! He has always intended to go to war. Forget the UN, forget the inspectors, forget any concessions from the Iraqi government -- George Bush intends to use our children to acquire the oil fields of Iraq. He is intent on revenge and profiteering. As he has done his whole life, he is using others for his selfish gain. God help America.

* * *

Somehow, "saving face for Bush" is not very important in light of the number of America's men and women and Iraqi innocent civilians who will die. To save face for a moron who boxed himself in is not a legitimate reason for waging war.

Why are we not pursuing Osama bin Laden? Why has he become inconsequential? Why are our efforts not FOCUSED on defending our country against the man who attacked us? Why does this nation have to live with terror alerts issued every time this administration needs a cover? Why has this administration been lax in finding the one man who has succeeded in killing more Americans on our soil than ever before? A one track mind, that's why --Georgie can only focus on one thing at a time. He isn't capable of the big picture. He does not have the intellectual capacity required to perform a complex job.

* * *

How have we allowed this bunch of cowboys to change America's tenet from defense to offense, from a defender to an aggressor? With overwhelming support of mainstream media, they have succeeded in using fear to scare Americans into believing we must strike out first and annihilate those who do not agree with us. Historically, these are the same strategies used by infamous despots. You'd think we would have learned from history. Those who are determined to rule the world eventually lose -- aggression is always met with defense. As we have seen when North Korea entered the picture, this administration back pedals on its rhetoric, at least for the time being. What do you think is going to happen when some of those countries join together as a defensive force and say no to this administration? Earth will lose.

* * *

While Colin Powell has a strong bond with the administration, I would hope that his bond with America is stronger. So many people in America trust him with their lives. They trust him to be truthful and they trust him to be a man of integrity. I hope he is man enough to live up to that trust. I hope he has not become a yes man for George.

* * *

When is America going to wake up and realize the man who sits illegitimately in the White House is bringing terror upon us? How long will Americans put up with an incapable spoiled brat deciding our future? Dumbya is a man who has never accepted responsibility for his actions, and we are allowing him free reign to wage war in our name!

February 5, 2003

One of my biggest fears is that Bush and his administration don't seem worried about fighting a war on two fronts because they won't hesitate to use nuclear weapons. That, my dear friends, will be the beginning of the end they are so hungry to achieve. We can truly expect all hell to break loose when Bush follows through with his threats.

* * *

In his attempts to "look presidential," Bush has succeeded in looking dictatorial. The resemblance to those whom he opposes is striking. Coupled with the deceit and arrogance, the innuendo and lack of responsibility, it's no wonder the American people don't trust him. In the end, all the people of this country really want is intelligent representation, clear and measured decision, diplomatic effort, honesty, and integrity in those who are guiding our country.

* * *

My grandmother used to say, "You have a one-track mind," which certainly was not intended as a compliment! It was her way of telling me my determination did not include seeing the issue from all angles. It was a phrase to teach a child that other things are as important and maybe more important than that which they want. I say, George, you have a one track mind, certainly not a focus, on a war with Iraq. The things that are more important than your zeal for war or the oil that you covet are the innocent Iraqi's who cannot be explained away as collateral damage.

* * *

Irony never ceases to amaze me! Those pious conservatives of the Repuglican persuasion will support a man who intends to kill innocent children for oil yet believes that abortion should be illegal! In a sane world this does not compute! In 2003, it shows us how far we as a society have regressed. I believed the leaders in this world were compassionate, intelligent, human beings who collectively could solve the problems of today without killing each other. That, of course, was before the United States allowed a fanatical moron to steal the office of the President.

* * *

This administration is without doubt the most despicable ever to perch in the White House. They are playing "blame the victims" rather than the cause! If it's been said once, I've heard it a thousand different ways, "The astronauts willingly accepted the danger involved." I wonder if they knew that funding had been undercut to finance other fantasies of the current administration? I wonder if they knew about those in Congress who would like to see the Space Program scaled down, in order to funnel the money into more personal endeavors?

February 4, 2003

When did incarceration and assassination become the order of the day? When did this country abandon the laws put forth in the constitution? When did it become necessary to make one man judge, jury, and executioner? The day the Supreme Court of the United States of America installed a moron in office, that's when! If you think that can only happen to terrorists, think again. Think about who has been arrested, think about who judged them, think about not being granted the right to a court of law, a lawyer, a jury of peers, and think about all those men who have recently been freed because of false evidence. We are becoming a third world country, beholden to a dictator, thanks to this administration and all those who are willingly being led down the path of fear.

* * *

"No smoking gun"! That's just more double-talk while Dumbya attempts to connect the dots. This time, if the world denies Dumbya's evidence, then his administration can blame it on Colin Powell. The case for war has not been made, the evidence is conjecture. The ineptness of the zealots has put the world in danger of annihilation. That's what happens when you have a bunch of morons leading a charge that fulfills their wildest dreams of oil, money, power, and revenge.

* * *

While this administration tries to explain away past mistakes with clichés like "Times and events change," I say, morals, ethics and values should never change. To dance with the devil is truly dancing with the devil, and that is something members of this administration have done many times before and are doing right now. They will do anything to achieve the goals they've set -- bribe, threaten, and dance with all the devils to wage a war on Iraq. Gee, I wonder if money and oil could be the driving force?

* * *

Bush is alienating the whole world. His threats and bribes do not sit well with others. While there are those who will bow to threat and cede to promises of money, there are also those who continue to say no to his insanity! The people of the world are demanding their leaders find saner ways to solve conflicts, ways that do not kill innocent children. The people of the world want informed, legitimate decisions made in their name are saying "No" to the moron who began his wave of havoc by stealing an election in Florida.

* * *

It seems the Freepers and the Young Repuglicans have taken over Crossfire. The intent is to project a positive response to Carlson and Novak. Unfortunately, the lunatic right wing does not want any, I repeat any, sane liberal opinions to be aired. If they were to scan the audience, I wonder if you'd see some of the same faces that mobbed the elections commission in Miami/Dade, thank you Tom DeLay. Maybe the tickets to Crossfire include dinner, now that the Repuglicans have okayed lobbyists to pay for perks. Liberals in this country need to speak up, speak out, and be heard. Democrats must start defending their principles and the Democracy we hold so dear.

February 3, 2003

We grieve for the astronauts who lost their lives pursuing a passionate positive endeavor for America. We grieve for their families. We grieve with all the citizens of America who recognize the benefits we derive from the Space Program. It has truly been a tragedy for us all.

* * *

A man of the people? Dumbya sure knows how to dine in elegance! When was the last time you sat down to a dinner of "seared sea scallops with apples and nuts, followed by tenderloin bathed in a wine sauce"? When was the last time you sat down over dinner to discuss invading a nation and annihilating hundreds of thousands of innocent people? Somehow this calls up images of a privileged person with plenty of money to spend in order to impress and influence the guests.

* * *

Another set of warning signs ignored by the Bush administration! How many lives are destined to be lost before this bunch of inept boobs realize that WAR is not the only answer for Americans? The future of mankind is at stake and we must have leaders who are capable of seeing the BIG PICTURE, as opposed to focusing on one egocentric vengeful issue. We need leaders with the intelligence to make those decisions that are necessary to the well being of the American people. We don't need a "regular guy," we need a President.
