If you believe the decision to wage war has not already been made, then pigs really do fly! The decision was made long ago, and in order to achieve this end it took a lot of complicity, lots of money for a campaign to install a moron, the Supreme Court's efforts to ensure the installation, and finally 9-11! Yes, WAR with IRAQ is going to happen, yes these people have wanted an opportunity to proceed with world domination, and yes it will eventually end in the same way all despotic ambition does. Innocent lives will be lost. This administration reveres money over all else!

Women in Georgia and all across the land, wake up, we are in danger of losing our right to choose what we can do with our bodies! The right wing fire and brimstone rabble-rouser GOP have made it known, quite vocally, that they intend to overturn Roe v. Wade. Abortion will be available only to those women rich enough to travel outside the United States, to countries where abortion is legal. Middle income and poor women will lose the right to choose.

After listening to President Clinton's speech on the State of Our Union, I was elated! It was wonderful to watch a man who did not have to read every word, a man who was eloquent and articulate, a man who exudes intelligence and provides reasonable solutions for the problems of a nation. God, you don't really realize what you had until it's gone. No wonder the Bush administration attempted to squelch everything Clinton did -- because in the end there really is no comparison, no matter how much they try to build Dumbya up, cover him up, and erase his mistakes. Bush will never be the man or the President we had in Bill Clinton!

We have a spoiled brat who, for several years, conned his parents, conned the National Guard, conned the state of Texas, conned the Supreme Court, conned Americans, and is now trying to con the rest of the world. His John Wayne imitation is not playing well. This is a man who can't eat a pretzel and watch TV. There are those who take offense at his questionable means to justify questionable ends. There are those who say no to lies and innuendo. There are those who have the courage to stand up and say no to Dumbya, you can't have a war to satisfy your whim.

Americans don't have to look abroad to get the truth! We have one courageous soul representing the people of the United States on the White House Press Corps, an expert on Presidents (she's observed eight men who have held the highest office) and one grand lady who isn't afraid to tell it like it is -- Helen Thomas! She sums it up in one sentence, "This is the worst president in all of American History"! Thank you, Ms. Thomas, for the truth!

While his falling poll numbers are like music to the ears of the faithful, I shudder to think, what next? The last time the poll numbers went south, this country experienced the disaster and heartache of 9-11. It is truly frightening to consider what this group will come up with in an attempt to send those numbers back up!

Bush plans to "persecute" Iraqis who use WMD against Americans! How in God's name can anyone trust a moron who doesn't know the difference between prosecute and persecute. If ever this country had a dunce perched in the oval office, we have one now! No matter how they paint him, no matter how many correct his mistakes, we have a moron running this country! And you wonder why we've become the laughing stock of the world? All you have to do is take a look at the empty head making noises.

The Constitution no longer guides our country. According to the Bush doctrine, this is our guiding principal: "The President considers this nation to be at war," a White House source says, "and, as such, considers any opposition to his policies to be no less than an act of treason." That is an excerpt from an article by Doug Thompson in Capital Hill Blue and it says it all. We have become the United States of America, Bush Style!

Sonny Perdue is getting a first hand dose of "be careful what you wish for"! He wished for the Governor's job and, by golly, he got it. However, in the process he made promises that just might bite him in the butt! Promising a vote to bring back the Confederate Flag, to fly over the Golden Dome in Georgia, is not an issue that will bring business and prosperity to Georgia. An issue so divisive, it's sure to continue a nasty fight. He should have left it alone, since Barnes indeed had worked out a viable compromise. He should have left the flag, which is reminiscent of fear and loathing for some and heritage (?) for others, in the museum where it belongs.

Donald Rumsfeld should publicly, on national television, apologize for the remarks he made disparaging veterans who were drafted into service. These are men who fought and died for America. Letters to the veterans and veteran's groups are a start, but if he is truly sorry for what he said, then this nation and all Americans should hear it on national television.

Why does it always seems like we learn, after the fact, that the policies of Bush and his administration are not really working and that they had covered up the facts? That's not a good working model for leaders who are supposed to be working on behalf of the people of the United States. Will the next headline be, "Gee we're sorry, we thought we could fight the whole world and found out too late we couldn't"?

Having been born in an age of "instant gratification," Bush is showing how it works. Call for UN inspections, but go after Iraq before the inspectors have time to complete the job. That's kind of like wanting to have your cake and eating it, too. Yes sir, the cowboy from Texas is chomping at the bit, he can't wait to get it on. Of course, that's as long as someone else has to do the actual fighting and dying for him. Maybe he'll be able to squeeze out a tear when the body bags begin to arrive, because he certainly won't squeeze out the money to provide long term care for the wounded.

A quote from G.W. Bush: "It's like watching a rerun of a bad movie"! I'd say that pretty much sums up what a majority of Americans and people all around the world think about his presidency.

The last time I remember this country in such despair, GHW Bush was in office! It must be in the genes. All that is bad for America is instigated by the Bushes! A failing economy, unemployment, no health care for millions, and war seem to cling to this family like stink on a pile! The only difference here is that there is no guarantee that the coming war will wipe out the threat to our well being. It has been said it will be the precursor to even more terror right here in America.

Dumbya is the quintessential politician. He rides the fence in order to gain the vote. He speaks words but says nothing. He makes promises without fulfillment. He speaks to pre- approved audiences that guarantee applause. He always blames someone else for his errors. He truly is the kind of snake oil salesman that gives politics a bad name. It would be a service to this country if he were to resign, taking Cheney and Rumsfeld with him. It would also save some really valuable American lives!

Dumbya believes in diversity of all kinds. He wants to honor the memory of Jefferson Davis by sending a wreath to his memorial. Dumbya is a man who speaks from both sides of his mouth. The American people need to tell Dumbya, "You're either with us or you're against us", "you're either for diversity or against it," you need to get off that fence you're riding, make up your mind and take a stand. You can't have it both ways, we're on to the game you're playing. The tone in Washington has only gotten worse.

It's heartening to see Bush falling in the polls. It just shows that more Americans are waking up and realizing that this guy is incapable of governing! Although, the last time his ratings dropped, America got 9-11. I hesitate to think what to expect now that might give those numbers the boost he thinks he deserves. Are we to revisit the days of Lemnitzer? It's scary to think what they are capable of doing.

Mainstream media and conservatives would like the American people to believe the protests were insignificant. That is why CNN, FOX, and other so called "news" stations did not carry the protest marches live. Numbers from 30,000 to 500,000 have been bandied about, depending on what the deliverer would have you believe. Thanks to CSPAN, we were able to view some of the dissent first hand and I can tell you that there were a whole lot of people out there in DC. The numbers were not small. The polls show the majority of the American people do not agree with pre-emptive unilateral strikes against Iraq! It's time for Dumbya to realize his plan for world domination might be in trouble.

We are being led into war by the same moron who talked down the economy in order to give tax-cuts that he benefits from personally, who abandoned all sense of reason and reliability in the Middle East, who has done everything to trash the environment, whose best friends are the likes of Enron, who was AWOL during Viet Nam even though he was stationed in Alabama, who ignored threats of terrorism pre 9-11, and who can't even eat a pretzel and watch TV! Are you sure you want to trust him with the lives of your sons and daughters? Are you sure this guy, who hid in a cave on 9-11, is the kind of leader that can really keep the terrorists at bay? Give me someone with some degree of sanity, please. Otherwise, the whole world is at risk!

On this holiday celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, this nation and the world would do well to remember that non-violence is the only road to peace. Dr. King not only spoke of non-violence, he lived it. Thank you, Dr. King for your message and for your example.

Thursday, the White House said the newly discovered war heads were not a smoking gun! Friday, these same war heads have become a "troubling serious" matter. Obviously whoever is calling the shots sees this as an opportunity to march on Iraq. Folks, these lunatics plan to go to war no matter what the citizens of this country want, no matter the moral issues of death and destruction, no matter what! Dick Cheney didn't spend all that time building oil infrastructure for nothing. He plans to cash in now!
