The President Has Left Us in a Weaker Position in the Fight Against Brutal Killers

The President says, "The senators obstructing the Patriot Act need to understand that the expiration of this vital law will endanger America and will leave us in a weaker position in the fight against brutal killers."

"Weaker position" my eye!  The President and his cohorts do not understand that America is at its strongest when its citizens are united.  The President has put us all at risk by violating the Constitution.  He has weakened FISA by undermining it.

He and his cohorts have demonstrated to the world that with 9-11, Americans will blink first, giving up their Constitutional rights and hard fought liberties.  We are no longer a beacon of human rights to the rest of the world.  We no longer have the respect and cooperation of the "good guys."

We can’t defeat terrorism by stomping on our own Constitution and throwing it out the window.  Our citizens are not united.  We cannot strengthen our position until we regain credibility of the three branches of our Government and our system of checks and balances.  And why is that true? That is true because we cannot regain the credibility of this country until the two majority parties work together to re-establish the Constitution as the basis of our Government.

We have to investigate, as John Conyers would have us do, and follow through on the findings.  Impeach.  Convict.  Throw the bum out! Unite!
