Cheney Diverted Power Crews from Hospitals to Oil Pipeline

This was a link from Dan Froomkin's column that you posted on your site, but it needs special emphasis!!! As you can see, Cheney intervened and directed utility crews to restore power for an oil/gasoline pipeline at the expense of medical facilities throughout Mississippi. He gave this order while he was still in on vacation in either Wyoming or Maryland, negotiating on his new $2.7 million summer home. You know, fuck the poor and the sick! Even so Cheney still did not return to the White House for several more days. (Now we know WHY the doctor in Mississippi told him to go fuck himself, don't we.) It's not that Cheney has heart trouble, per se, the man doesn't have a heart -- period. (And to get perfectly snarky about it, it's just too bad that Cheney didn't have a heart attack while he was in Mississippi for his scripted photo-op. That would have been poetic justice.) While the focus, thanks to Kanye West, is on the president as it should rightfully be, we cannot let dear, sweet Dickie off the hook on this administration's racist policies. How about posting this news report in a prominent place on your website?
