Is there anyone in the press who can seriously ask someone: "Is this the culture of life we heard so much about during the Schiavo debacle"?

So, GOP America: when you see a dead African-American citizen of New Orleans decaying in the sludge, what do you think? Answer: Exactly the same thing a fan of Hitler thought in 1944 Germany when they got wind of the gas chambers where their Jewish neighbors were being murdered. (If you don't believe this, please go read a few posts on FreeRepublic!)

We are now told that the Government is putting victims on planes and not telling them where they are going. They are refusing to tell them the destination until they are boarded.

Dear Leader certainly did know what was going on with Katrina before it hit:

* Bush knew Saturday morning the storm was bearing down hard on NOLA.

* Bush had a video conference call from the head of the Miami Hurricane center at the Crawford ranch on Sunday. The people in the Center had been up all night for three days tracking the storm. And the head of the Center said "he just couldn't go to sleep without personally advising the President of the gravity of the situation".

Something is going on here. Apparently, the catastrophically bad response was planned. Brownie really is doing a heck of a job.

It is we who are mistaken; we mistakenly thought Brownie was supposed to save lives.

We now have cholera in America. The rescued are fanning out. Where's the CDC?

No one could be as incompetent as he has shown himself to be. This is an opportunistic situation which is supposed to be a tragedy, in which Bush's cronies will make billions. (They're already talking about $150-200 billion to fix NO, and Halliburton already has a sizable sole-source contract.)

What?

It's like another Iraq War Opportunity just fell in our laps. Who do you think is going to get the rebuilding contracts? (And the pinch in our energy supply is likely making big profits too, for the right kind of people.)

Sticking victims on planes with no announced destination almost seems like were getting prepared for some kind of Nazi-style people shuffling. Perhaps Blacks are the new Jews?

Is this to provoke a situation where Black-dominated inner city areas are plunged into chaos, with increasing martial law, and only white non-city areas will be "safe". Turn all the Blacks (how can they be trusted anyway, voting 90% democrat?) into displaced citizens. (That kind of makes it hard for them to vote, right?)

If this theory is correct, then there will be further crises in this country. Even more serious, it's been obvious for years now that Republicans are covering up incredible scandals, like lying us into an illegal war, which of course can't be investigated with the Republican-controlled Congress. These criminals will do anything to escape proper investigation.

I fear that they plan to plunge the country into further crises where they say, once again, "we can't change horses midstream."

The lack of aid, refusal to let aid workers in, refusal to let the newspapers in, refual to allow photographs, the systematic demonizing of the residents, the total disregard for those same residents etc. etc. is beginning to look like a war, rather than a relief effort, has been declared on the people of New Orleans, the people of the United States. But this is standard operating procedure for the Bush regime: Ban the press, hide the dead, spin spin spin, and shoot people who disagree. If the American people can't see the death, mabe it's not really happening...

Well, when Bush investigates what went wrong, he will find out who did not do their job. I'm certain that he'll be impartial. In fact, when he finds that he himself did not do his job here, he is certain to let us know.

HOW MANY MORE DEATHS WILL IT TAKE BEFORE AMERICANS STOP THIS ADMINISTRATION?

The southern Louisiana parishes are, uh, um, the Democratic parishes. By the way.
