My name is Andrew Horabin and I live in the world's most isolated capital - Perth, Western Australia.

Like many Australians, I'm angry at George Bush Jr and our own right-wing leader John Howard. I wanted to write a song to express that feeling. I decided to make it a funny one so I could play it on a stand-up comedy stage, which is where I perform most frequently.

"Georgie Boy" is the result. The song won the Political Category and Grand Prize of the WAM Song of the Year (2003) and the Rap/R'n'B/HipHop Category of the ASA National Song Contest (although it's not your average hip hop song).

The day the song was announced as the winner of the WAM Song of the Year was also the day Georgie said "Mission accomplished", standing on an aircraft carrier in a fighter pilot's costume like it was a dress-up party and he was the host. A year later, I recorded a Radio Friendly Fire Version with less swearing and updated lyrics (including some references to Farenheit 911).
