Rummy is the Scapegoat in Bush's War

A BUZZFLASH READER CONTRIBUTION
by Brady Bancroft

It is becoming increasingly obvious that the war in Iraq is a fiasco and the American public's support for the war is rapidly evaporating. The Republicans are tripping over themselves to find a scapegoat for this mess so as to deflect attention from George Bush.

George Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq. George Bush is the commander in chief. George Bush appointed and supported the policies of Donald Rumsfeld. George Bush is responsible
for all of the deaths of the U.S. soldiers and the Iraqi civilians. Rumsfeld is the scapegoat to deflect attention from Bush's failures.

We should not be drawn into the debate about whether or not Rumsfeld should resign. This is Bush's war. Don't let the Republicans get away with this diversion.
