BuzzFlash Note: Stacey contacted BuzzFlash and thought our readers might enjoy this song. We listended to it and agreed. This is how he described it to us:

I have a song I would like to offer BuzzFlash readers for free download. Having been a radio personality in today's opressive media, I full well know that any music protesting the direction of this country and King George will be censored. I've recently moved on from radio and have just recorded a CD which contains something that the mainstream would surely sensor.

HISTORY OF THE SONG

“There comes a moment when you realize that things are not what they seem and by the time you’re aware of this the mountain has already become very steep. At first glance it’s quite surprising, but upon further review you finally ask yourself ‘well what the hell did we expect?” It is at this moment that I wrote ‘In Over Your Head’.” -- Stacey Blood

LYRICS

“In Over Your Head”
words and music by Stacey Blood

Now the witches hold the ark
And they operate in the dark
Guiding monsters while your sleeping
And they play a tune of the sweetest sound
For you, baby’s sleeping sound

And the dead knock on their graves
In attempt to wake the slaves
Getting robbed of their possessions
And they play the fool

There’s no solution, no
‘Cause now you know you’re in
Over your head and it’s in style

Now the witches wear no mask
‘Cause they fear no questions asked
From LA to New York City
Yeah we come for you

There’s no solution, no
‘Cause now you know you’re in
Over your head
Over your head, whatchya gonna do
When you see the eyes of truth look at you?

We’ve got solution, yeah
‘Cause now you know you’re in
Over your head and it’s in style

Over your head
Over your head
Over your head

BIO

Born into a musical family in 1976 in Fort Worth, Tx, Stacey Blood has spent his whole life around music. From helping his father wind up guitar chords to his decade-long stint as a medium market radio DJ and all the way to being on the eve of releasing his first record, Stacey has absorbed every ounce of musical relevancy made available.

His first independent release entitled "Reversed Space" portrays Stacey as a captain taking you into an imagination in which only he can take you in and bring you back out. His chordy and melodic driven style is reminiscent of the 60s and 70s era of musical creativity and urgency and has injected it into today’s musical fold. The result is a psychedelic punch that wakes you up from an age that lacks in radio conviction and era intervention.
