So, George, Just How Are We Safer?

We Are?

This commonly repeated Bush talking point is repeating over and over again on television set around the globe. This language is to relax and calm the American public, and remind the mostly uninformed populous about the advances his administration has made in his war on terror.

However, just looking at any given days headlines completely put the kybosh on any relevance to reality in the truthfulness of this overly massaged message.

Explosions 'led to Russia crashes'

Reports: 8 killed in Moscow blast

U.S. air strike kills six Afghans

Kabul blast on U.S. office kills 9

Afghan blast 'kills 9 children'

So thank you, and cheers to the Bush administration. We the people of the world do feel safer, and it looks like you are doing such a great job, increasing the safety of this planet. We all look forward to Nov. 2nd, when you can make your case to the unemployment line, on how you helped the world get "better."
