Citizens for Honest Fighter Pilots Say Jerry Corsi Deserves As Much TV Air Time As John O'Neill
BUZZFLASH READER CONTRIBUTION
We hear a lot about John O'Neill, but seldom hear anything about Jerry Corsi. He and O'Neill co-authored the anti-Kerry book "Unfit For Command." I want to know why I see O'Neill on TV every day, but I never see Corsi. Doesn't he deserve any credit for co-authoring the book?
I mean what's not to like about this guy? I know he's got views that he likes to share and I know he's had plenty of writing experience because he's been visiting internet chat rooms for years and openly voicing his opinions about everything and anything. Corsi should be on TV more often. Why should O'Neill get all the credit?
Corsi's Strong Views On Religion
On his many visits to internet chat rooms, Jerry had this to say in reference to Muslims, Corsi claims, "Ragheads are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters." In one of his chat room posts he says: "Islam is a peaceful religion just as long as the women are beaten, the boys buggered and the infidels are killed."
But before we go any further, lets put his internet comments in the right perspective. According to the Associated Press, Corsi has apologized and said his comments were not meant to be taken seriously. He was joking and never meant to offend anyone.
I don't know about anybody else, but I was sure relieved to find out that this particular comment was not meant to be taken seriously. For a minute there I got the impression that Corsi thought women getting beaten and boys being sodomized was funny.
But as it turns out, I guess I don't have a very good sense of humor. Maybe too thin-skinned as well. I need to lighten up.
I hate to be a prude, but it does seem to me that Corsi takes an inordinate amount of delight in making what he says are jokes about sodomy and boys being sexually abused.
Here's another one of his internet comments on the subject, "So this is what the last days of the Catholic Church are going to look like. Buggering boys undermines the moral base and the lawyers rip the gold off the Vatican altars."
Here's another example: "Isnít the Democratic Party the official SODOMIZER PROTECTION ASSOCIATION of AMERICA?"
I'm sorry but I don't get what's so funny about those comments either. I guess I'm just an old stick-in-the-mud.
I must admit, Corsi does not discriminate when bashing various religions. In a chat room, he questioned Kerry's religious beliefs, saying: "After he married TerRAHsa, didn't John Kerry begin practicing Judaism? He also has paternal grandparents that were Jewish. What religion is John Kerry?"
I got a little offended when I read that Corsi said the Pope was senile. I took exception to the comment, since we've learned that Corsi's own memory is completely out of whack. After reviewing official government records, it appears that just about everything written in his book has been discredited.
If I were him, I wouldn't be so quick to make fun of anybody being senile. Who knows, he may need to use senility as a defense should somebody decides to sue him over the lies in his book about Kerry or the lies he spewed about numerous people on the internet.
Would A Normal Person Say Such Things?
If the comments Corsi made on-line represent the kind of things he says in jest, I'd hate to see what he writes about people he dislikes when he's serious.
Some of his statements lead me to wonder whether he may be hanging out with Rush and dipping into Rush's stash of pills. Like when he said, "Islam is like a virus," and "it affects the mind," and wrote, "Maybe even better as an analogy, it is a cancer that destroys the body it infects. No doctor would hesitate to eliminate cancer cells from the body."
Addiction experts often refer to the insanity of the illness and I think statements like this might be considered insane to many people.
Corsi's Special Feelings For The Clintons
While Corsi may hate Kerry, Kennedy, Catholics, Muslims, Arabs, and Jews, he despises the Clintons. Here are a few of his posts about Bill and his wife.
"HELL-ary loves the Arabs so much (kiss, kiss Mrs. Arab*RAT) Ė wonder how she would look in a Burka?"
In response to a suggestion that Hillary might run for President, Corsi wrote, "Let the FAT HOG run!!!"
In what once again appears to be an on-going obsession with other people's sexual activities, Corsi put this question to his fellow posters, "Anybody ask why HELLary couldnít keep BJ Bill satisfied? Not a lesbo or anything is she?"
Judging by all the capital letter and added characters in these particular comments, it looks like Corsi has a pretty intense hatred toward the former First Lady. If I were Hillary, I wouldn't go walking alone in any dark alleys if he was in the vicinity.
Corsi Thinks Communism Is Rampant In US
If this guy is not sharing pills with Rush, then I have to wonder whether he might be a clone of Joe Mccarthy. He's constantly calling people communists.
He says the initials for MSNBC stand for "More Shit, Nothing But Communism," and NBC stands for "Nothing But Communism." He calls Today Show host Katie Couric, "Little Katie Communist of NBC."
I don't know why Corsi didn't share more of his honest feelings about Kerry and Ted Kennedy in his book. In the chat room, Corsi refers to Kerry as "John F*ing Kerry" and says that "John F*ing Commie Kerry and Commie Ted discuss their plan to hand America over to our nationís enemies."
I say Corsi could definitely be a relative of Mccarthy; they speak the same language.
Corsi Has Strong Negative Feeling About Celebrities
Corsi also has strong negative feelings about certain celebrities. He says Martina Navratilova, is the: "Perfect Liberal Ė lesbian, self-absorbed, hates America, anxious to impose her values on everybody else."
I just realized something, Corsi really does have a one-track mind. Everyone he dislikes is gay, a communist or a pervert.
He doesn't think much of Martin Sheen either. Referring to 9/11, he says, "Too bad the plane didnít crash into the TV set of the NBC show 'The Left Wing' especially when Martin Sheen was acting."
Wishing people dead? No wonder Rove won't let him go on TV to promote the book. This guy is badly in need of help. I hope his job as a Republican hit man includes health insurance that covers mental illness.
Credit For His Contributions To The Book About Kerry
As for his contributions as co-author of "Unfit For Command," Corsi plays as hard and loose with the facts in the book as he does on the internet. For example, he writes, "Kerry and VVAW consistently coordinated their efforts with communists."
A review of official reports from the Nixon years, dispels any such notion. FBI documents do show where members of the VVAW were under surveillance, but the files specifically say that the FBI did not find "any evidence of any affiliation or coordination with Communist elements known to be operating in the country."
In another instance, in 1971, Corsi claimed that Kerry said, "Communists were right in maintaining that American values were corrupt and the only solution was for America to capitulate so Communism could continue to spread."
When in fact, on December 12, 1971, the Boston Globe quotes Kerry as saying the opposite. "I donít like Communists. In fact, I hate them. I hate all totalitarians. Iím totally dedicated to representative, pluralistic, free democracy," he told the Globe.
Corsi Better Keep His Day Job Until November
Corsi's jokes must be way over my head because I failed to find humor in any of them. He'd never make it as a stand-up comic, so I'd advise him to keep his day job as a paid Republican hit-man and stick to what he does well -- writing sick, filthy, and disgusting lies about people. It's a craft he's got down pat.
In November, when he finds himself in an unemployment line, since he seems to know his way around the internet so well, I suggest that he post his resume on Monster.com, right alongside Dick Cheney's.
