Bush's "Popular Uprising"

George and Dick told us all about the popular uprising that would occur in Iraq in appreciation of our invasion to liberate them. The popular uprising, they assured us, would include a coming together of the citizenry against an aggressive and failed leader. They dreamed of coalitions of forces, military and otherwise, rising up and assisting in the toppling of a despot.

Well, they're getting their popular uprising and it's been slowly building since their politically destructive and misguided occupation of Iraq.

It is, indeed, an uprising focused like a laser on the removal of an 'out of control' despotic regime. A despotic regime that rules with cowardice, secrecy, divisiveness and weakness. Unfortunate for George and Dick, the fiercest and most prolific center of this 'popular uprising' is occurring right here in America.

The body politic of America is rising up like never before in opposition to the secretive, weak, aggressive, and arrogant administration of George and Dick.

This uprising is embodied in the courageous efforts of the survivors of the 9/11 attack to keep pressure on this slippery and evasive despotic duo -- and also by the families of servicemen who have been put in harm's way or lost in the quagmire these two have created.

Further, polling shows that voter apathy has been virtually eliminated and that large segments of our society are assuming a role in the constitutional process for the first time. The rising up, seemingly overnight, of highly organized internet sites that have managed to raise hundreds of millions of dollars earmarked specifically for George and Dick's removal are stark indicators of this 'popular uprising'.

The sheer volume and spirit of the writings in op/ed sections in newspapers across the country reveal the passion and inspiration behind this uprising.

The volume of books being written by a steady stream of former insiders illustrates the scope and threat of this danger -- and the volume of people who turn out for the signings of these books shows clearly that people, in large numbers, are beginning to fully understand what this administration has done and plans to do to our country.

This popular uprising is centered in, but certainly not limited to, America. The leadership of countries all over the world, in an unprecedented way, are getting overtly involved in our domestic political process -- And for good reason. They have as much to lose as we do when George and Dick start throwing their weight and ignorance around with a foreign policy directed from the Book Of Revelations -- and George starts again with his claim of being the Voice of God himself.

The very document that George and Dick find so flawed and in need of amending on so many levels will be the most formidable weapon against them. And the irony is that not only will large numbers of Americans rise up to exercise their constitutional right to vote but domestic and INTERNATIONAL organizations have joined forces to monitor our elections to ensure that the spirit and letter of our constitution is adhered to.

George and Dick seemed pretty glum about not the getting the popular uprising in Iraq that George Tenet promised them, but they sure are getting it now!

Be careful what you ask for fellas.
