The BIG story was the Kerry speech and the beginning of the campaign, as well as how pResident Bush was going to respond. The story about the arrest never made it to WBBM while I was listening. The story of the arrest was aired on NPR along with questions to the reporter about the timing of the announcement. The reporter said that the initial arrest was made on Saturday, but the police coordinated with our administration who said they wanted the announcement to be made yesterday.
