BUZZFLASH READER CONTRIBUTION January 2001: A fortnight before his most important State of the Union Speech. He chokes. May 2003: About two weeks before his most important trip abroad. He cannot steer. August 2003: In little over a week he'll give only his second (the first was to announce the start of the war on Iraq) Address to the Nation defending the yellowcake fiasco, the WMD lies and the growing insurgency in Iraq; arguably his most important National Address to date. He fumbles. May 2004: Two days before one of very few and arguably the most important prime time speech of his, now lowest, 41% overall approval rated, presidency.
