Imagine A Unified Message

A BUZZFLASH READER COMMENTARY
by Jim P

Dear BuzzFlash,

Whoever wins for the Democrats will get my active support and vote.

Who should win? The candidate who won't let these questions rest:

Mr. Bush, why are you delaying the 9-11 Investigation?

Mr. Bush, why do you refuse to release your military records?

Mr. Bush, who among your advisors subverted national security by outing Ms. Plame?

Mr. Bush, why won't you command Cheney to make public the meetings that set our national energy policy?

Mr. Bush, why was nothing you said true about Iraq's weapons and Saddam's ties to al-qaeda?

There are other questions in this vain that can be asked. Anyone can probably supply a half-dozen off the top of their head. But it's time to take attention away from what the candidates are wearing, and put it's focus where it belongs -- the Miserable Failure and Friends.

Only by asking the right questions repeatedly and loudly -- offering media nothing else for soundbites for a while -- will we force real issues into the mainstream discussion.

Otherwise, media will just continue to politically assassinate any Democrat with rumor and innuendo.
