Nethercutt hails Iraq's recovery
'It is a better ... story than losing a couple of soldiers every day'

What the dots in the actual headline say:

"It is a better and more important story than losing a couple of soldiers every day."

So Nethercutt thinks our ability to get the electricity turned on in Iraq after bombing the sh** out of the power plants is more important than a couple of GI's being killed every day. In other words, the media should shut-up about our troops being maimed and killed regularly and tell us more about how many megawatts of power are being generated by Halliburton in Iraq.

Nethercutt is the GOP liar and signer of Gingrich's "Contract on America" pledging to serve only three terms who conveniently then changed his mind after six years. Now he's running against Patty Murray, the U.S. Senator from Washington who was crucified on front page of the same paper and on talk radio around the country in December of 2002 for daring to (accurately) suggest reasons for Osama Bin Laden's popularity in the Islamic world. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/attack/101099_murray23.shtml
