The FBI Was Right Quick to Determine that "Saddam Explosives" Were Used in the U.N. Blast. Mighty Interesting. BUZZFLASH READER COMMENTARY Wow! The FBI has improved measurably in the past few...days?... weeks? Within hours of the terrorist bombing in Iraq, they have already been able to determine: http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20030820/D7T1R9M01.html "...The FBI said Wednesday the deadly bomb that ripped through U.N. headquarters in Iraq was made from 1,000 pounds of old munitions, including a single 500-pound bomb - all materials from Saddam Hussein's prewar arsenal that required no "great degree of sophistication" to assemble..." "... investigators had yet to examine the rubble pile where the victims were killed. He said there was concern that searchers could be harmed by unexploded materials used in making the bomb, which also consisted of Soviet-era artillery and mortar shells as well as hand grenades..." Imagine: the truck that delivered the explosives is still BURIED under all that rubble, but the FBI has been able to ascertain--with full confidence--that the material to construct the bomb was all from Hussein's prewar arsenal! Amazing, since they have not even EXAMINED the wreckage of the UN headquarters. This is VERY exciting because, apparently, not only can our FBI leap piles of illogic as high as tall buildings, they also possess x-ray vision! It is unfortunate that these skills were unavailable during the investigation of the similar bombing in Oklahoma City. It took much longer than a few hours to discover the type of explosives used in that truck. Upon examining with their nifty x-ray eyes the "Soviet-era artillery, etc.", they were then able to conclude that the materials could have only come from Hussein's arsenal. Mmmm, I can only assume this is because no one else in the world would have access to Soviet-era munitions. That makes sense. None of those former Soviet satellite countries would have sold their old stuff to terrorists, that would be unethical. And that stuff that the Soviets left behind in Afghanistan would have absolutely no way to reach terrorists. The Taliban regime was very careful to lock that stuff up or destroy it, right? And the new guys have things completely under control. Remarkable, too, how the FBI was able to state exactly what Hussein had in his pre-war arsenal. It's almost as if they had an inventory list. Perhaps they can use that list and their super, duper x-ray vision to find those elusive WMD. We can all rest easy with the knowledge that the superheroes of the Bureau are on the case! Liz Taylor A BUZZFLASH READER COMMENTARY * * * BuzzFlash Note: We don't know whether Saddam is dead, alive or captured. All we know is that the Bush Cartel is "leaving" Saddam alive for the time being because they need to blame the continuing deaths of Americans, Iraqis and other nationalities on a great "evildoer." Because, if it is not Saddam behind all the guerrilla activity, then it means Bush has led our troops and the Iraqi people into a Vietnam morass. The Bush Cartel cannot afford to have Americans learn the truth about the cul de sac of death and destruction that it has led the nation into. The reality is that the guerrilla activity against the U.S. and the West appears to be multi-faceted -- and, in all likelihood, Saddam has little or nothing to do with it. If the Bush Cartel couldn't kill or capture one man by now, how good are they at anything? Good question. Just ask Osama bin Laden, the Anthrax terrorist, and Mullah Omar for the answer. In claiming that Saddam is still eluding them, the Bush Cartel/Pentagon propagandists are endowing him with superhuman powers. They need to create the perception that he is out there stirring up trouble in order to explain that we are near the point when more soldiers will have died since Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" than before that time. When an administration has proved itself to be a serial liar, it provides fertile ground for conspiracy theories. That's because you never know when they are telling the truth or trying to use propaganda to achieve their goals. Sometimes, they may even tell the truth by accident Bush Lied -- and Our Soldiers Died -- And Continue Dying. As of August 20, 2003: Total
deaths since July 2nd (Pres. Bush announces, "Bring Them
On"): 66 And what about the countless soldiers wounded? And what about the thousands of Iraqis killed and wounded? And what of the dead U.N. staff members? Bush Lied -- and they died too. | |||||
