Blair, Thank you.
My
Son is being sent to Iraq, thanks in large part to you and your abuse
of intelligence through Operation Rockingham.
Operation Rockingham, as you well know, pumped up and promoted
'intelligence' in an effort to prove an active Iraqi WMD program,
yet ignored other
intelligence which indicated that Iraq's WMD's had been destroyed.
You also know that skewed information and manipulated intelligence
from Operation Rockingham was used as you made your alleged 'case'
for the
imminent threat as a justification for invading Iraq. Was Operation
Rockingham the source of the 'British Intelligence' that ended
up in what was supposed
to be the most vetted speech in history, George W. Bush's 2003
State of the Union Speech?
I just wanted to thank you for your part in how my Son, my only
child, is being sent to Iraq as a result of your lies, your abuse
of power,
and your manipulation of intelligence.
It is evidently not enough that a most respected former U.N. weapons
scientist, David Kelly, apparently committed suicide over the inquiry
as to why we went to war. We now have to see our families shattered
as hundreds of British and U.S. troops are killed and injured over
what
amounts to nothing more than lies and manipulation to promote an
ideological agenda. And you contributed to it.
Perhaps one day a friend of yours, or maybe even someone in your
family, will be sent, on false pretenses, to be a target on a battlefield
in
a foreign land. Perhaps then you will realize what a tragedy it
is that you resorted to lies to make a case that, as it is turning
out,
could
not be made on its' merits alone.
I only hope you can sleep as well at night as does your partner
in fraud, George W. Bush.
You can rest assured that I will have many sleepless nights in
the coming months, thanks to you.
