Newt-Speak, Or How A Disgraced Republican Helped George Cook Up the Mess We're In

Recently Newt Gingrich said in a television interview that
it was time for Democrats to quit carping on Bush's justification for
the war in Iraq and start concentrating on the process of rebuilding
their infrastructure. He said that the justification argument is now
a moot point because America is safer from terrorists like Hussein and
Bin Laden than they were before the war. He also stated that Democrats
are only politicizing past and aren't offering anything positive to our
future safety and well-being.
First of all, why has that cold-blooded Spinmeister suddenly jammed his
oversized head into my tv reality? It's most likely that he's trying
to cover the reports that he was "stirring it up" for Dick
Cheney over at Langley when they were cooking that pre-war Niger yellow
cake intelligence.

Secondly, are we really any safer now because of Gulf War version 2.0
(as he's claimed)? Not according to the three American diplomats who
resigned in protest over the Iraq war.

Former Representative Gingrich has also attempted to shift the attention
from the Homeland Security budget that the GOP just passed which leaves
Tom Ridge's defense severely underfunded. It's because of that all-important
tax cut that the GOP just rubber-stamped for Bush's rich buddies
that there's not enough money in the budget to even secure our borders.
Democrats
are on record as having proposed amendments to help cover the gaping
holes in our defense system,

the GOP simply couldn't "afford" it.
So when Mr. Pastyboy and his friends over at FoxNoose repeatedly claim that Democrats
are contributing no positive answers to America's defense and security problems,
just recall my attached graphic. It's my own recipe to help remind folks that
they've spread that "icing" far too thin.
