Living in the Twilight Zone

Dear Buzz:
I have come to the conclusion that we are living in the Twilight Zone. I read a couple of stories this morning and now I'm not sure that I've woken up, I think I must still be asleep having a nightmare.
First,
I discovered that I was wrong to assume that Ann Coulter had crossed
a line when she suggested that we invade Middle Eastern countries, "kill
their leaders and convert them to Christianity," as it turns out,

Then I read this little nugget from Article Link:
"One senior administration official said Bush thought it was "silly" of journalists to raise doubts about how the war was unfolding and to question the battle plan."
Please, correct me if I'm wrong but in a democracy, ISN'T THAT SUPPOSED TO BE THE PRESS'S JOB?!?!
Just one more fine example that Bush really has no idea what democracy is and that, whatever it is, he sure doesn't have a taste for it. But any minute my alarm is going to go off and I will wake from this nightmare, right?
