Bush Cartel Deficit Spending is Its Way of Starving the Government

If we remember clearly back to the Reagan times, it was obvious to most of us what the dirty little secret was in the deficit spending policies, together with the tax cut policies of the conservatives. The strategy was to burden the nation with so much debt, special interest spending and spending on the military that we apparently would not afford social programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Welfare.
The conservatives never stated this right up front - they never could get any mileage that way, but this has been what their dirty little secret is all about.
Conservatives have been fighting against entitlements since the Roosevelt administration by working frontally against them. This didn't work. So, they adopted a new strategy of indebting the government so much that getting rid of entitlements was to be an obvious answer.
It
has worked.
