MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, "Society prepares the crime; the criminal commits it." -- The New Dictionary of Thoughts 1966 Why do most criminals think they are so much smarter than the law? For the Bush GOP, that hasn't been the case. US law has been trampled on, skirted, and flaunted for eight long years, and used harshly other times on American citizens. All the Bush GOP have to do to keep from 'facing the real music,' is to skip town, or, to mimic Bush, take [loud laughter] executive privilege. We Americans haven't had executives in this government for so long, we wouldn't recognize them even if they happened to show up with an oversized brass flag pin, a big wheel, and their briefcase in hand. MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, I guess the Supreme Court isn't interested in how many deaths we have every month around this gun totin' country. They get plenty of security, no doubt, as do the war mongers who travel with Bush. All any American has to do is just pick up any paper, on any day of the week, and somebody is getting shot, killed, DOA, and lately, three members last Sunday, in SF, were killed because of road rage by some gang member because they couldn't make a turn onto another street. Life has become to mean nothing in this country ... and that careless meaning for life, other than their own, has filtered down from the Bush Republican regime's violent policies and their legislative war on American citizens. MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, "We must build a world of peace where the weak are safe and the strong are just." -- John F. Kennedy, America Back on Track, Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
It's being said that Obama is ahead of McCain by 12 points. One has to wonder where. Where are those who want this country back as a democracy again. A great place to raise families again. Americans who would want the US to be respected as a country of leadership around the world again. Twelve points? Why is it not 88 points? Why does Bush still have 23% approval rate, unless it comes from those whose dollar signs kinda, sorta blind? Technorati Tags: Shirley Smith McCain Coal Native American Polls Obama

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, Corrupt world. If people are banning people because of their corruption, then why is Bush, along with his outrageous entourage, invited everywhere? We know that Bush is guilty of what he sent Stewart to jail for, as well as killing, thieving, and treasonous actions towards this country. Shame on Britain. Who are they to cast shadows when they supported Bush in all of his endeavors? Is there a crime that Bush hasn't committed on a large scale, and used US government to protect his behind? MS. MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, "Indifference is a militant thing. It batters down the walls of cities and murders the women and children amid the flames and the purloining of altar vessels." -- Stephen Crane (d. 1900), "Death of the Child"
The indifference we witness in today's America will end up killing the last remnants of our Democracy unless we revive our own sense of justice. If we Americans are to preserve our morality, our rights, and the soul of this country, we have to care passionately about the rights of others. We have to care about the lives of others, just as we care about ourselves. Technorati Tags: Shirley Smith Indifference GOP Hit and Run Immigration Diversity Crimes Economy

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, Just judging from how many wrong steps Bush has been able to take . . . the worst America can offer to the world, and without accountability, seems to be in vogue. But, most Americans know that this Bush GOP government (30 years of it) has in no way ever represented this country, democracy, or the American people . . . so why would anyone in Congress, who cared about their job, support such a criminal and treasonous regime, and why do they still, no matter what Bush does?
