Bush and the GOP: McCain Is "Our Man In Arizona"

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

BuzzFlash,

"We must build a world of peace where the weak are safe and the strong are just." -- John F. Kennedy, America Back on Track, Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

It's being said that Obama is ahead of McCain by 12 points. One has to wonder where. Where are those who want this country back as a democracy again. A great place to raise families again. Americans who would want the US to be respected as a country of leadership around the world again. Twelve points? Why is it not 88 points? Why does Bush still have 23% approval rate, unless it comes from those whose dollar signs kinda, sorta blind?

If our fellow Americans want what has been delivered for the last 30 to 40 years in our name, yes, I can see twelve points, if people just love what the Bush Republicans have brought to this country during the last 40 years . . . debt, death, and destruction. A path of destruction that is as wide as this country and reaches around the world and up into the stratosphere . . . you know, the ozone layer which, if it continues to exist, absorbs most of the ultraviolet radiation. We don't hear too much about that or too much of any other scientific reports during this Bush administration.

If McCain can't respect and protect the citizens in his own state of Arizona, how can Americans believe that he will protect this nation and mend our murdering reputation around the world?

At this moment the decision makers in Washington D.C. are planning ways to seize tribal lands to extract mineral resources. The coal companies are funding both the Republican and Democratic parties because they have huge interests at stake. Presidential candidate John McCain recently sponsored forced-relocation legislation targeting these Dineh families;

Peabody Coal, the world's largest coal company, currently has plans to expand its strip mine operations and to seize more deep aquifers beneath these indigenous lands. (snip)

Peabody Coal, the world's largest coal company, currently has plans to expand its strip mine operations and to seize more deep aquifers beneath these indigenous lands. (snip) Peabody Coal Company has completely dug up burials, sacred sites, and shrines designated specifically for offerings, preventing religious practices. Not only were the principal concerns of the communities directly affected by the legislation never addressed, those communities were not even notified.

SUPPORT THE STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL At Black Mesa

People should view McCain as the coming of another George Bush number two, along with all of the election fraud, propaganda, and GOP shock jock swill. Those people who support such a treasonous eight years value only their bank accounts, and nothing else.

Yes, there are thousands of Americans who do not know anything about McCain and if they get their news from big guy media on TV or in print . . . they still won't know anything about McCain . . . what do Americans need to know other than how their lives are today anyway . . . if they don't have the facts, at least they know how hard it has become to keep a roof over the heads of their families, feed their children at home and in school, and keep their own jobs, or be able to get to their jobs. How many families have to choose today between gas and goods? How can any American think this is "NOT" the fault of the Bush administration and those who have supported it, including McCain?

Bush has also made money off of the backs of Americans by taking their homes and land away to build a sports stadium in Dallas. This election is not between Democrats and Republicans . . . it's between Corporatism (the control of a state or organization by large interest groups. The New Oxford American Dictionary) and Democracy . . . life, liberty, and justice for all, however, many American citizens today still do not get life, liberty or justice . . .

Many citizens of the US have not had that for over thirty years. We need trust in our government (some think it's impossible, but at least we need to bring back checks and balances by Congress and the Supreme Court) to rebuild this country from the bottom up . . . because, we have reached a bottom in morality and in the spirit of respect for our Constitution and Bill of Rights that brought this country to greatness . . . once upon a time . . . power can't be allowed to continue to be bought . . . when that happens, it will always be abused. They are serving another master.

Thanks BuzzFlash,

Shirley Smith
