BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Something to keep in mind during the current election cycle---Promises, promises, promises, it all sounded so inspirational, back in 2004 in “a speech calibrated to boost his re-election” George Bush said---“We will build new ships to carry man forward into the universe, to gain a new foothold on the moon, [1] and prepare for new journeys to the worlds beyond our own," The Repuglicans will promise the American people anything to win an election, including the moon!!! And then after the election what do they do about their promises??? NOTHING!

Seeing as how John McCain has all those years in the Senate, and all that “experience” don’tcha, kinda, sorta, think he should have done something for the American people before now, on energy, the economy, health care, education, and our safety and security! [2] Given the fact that he’s certainly had more than enough time to do something, anything, that benefits the people of this country, why hasn’t he?

Enough with the polls already---the numbers we’re getting in the “too close to call” category are deliberate and intentional! [3] It’s called “laying the cover in order to steal an election”, psychological preparation for the masses, so that when the Repuglicans steal another election in November 2008 no one will question the results!!! And Americans will have to wait a year to find out who really got the most votes and who really won the election!!! All of which leaves us wondering if those clandestine “detention facilities” [4] ordered up by George Bush and being built by Haliburton all over the country are for those who would eventually oppose a Repuglican coup!!!

Now this is what I call “listening to the troops on the ground in Iraq” and we would all do well to pay attention!!! “Barack Obama met with a crowd of cheering troops and State Department workers [5] in Baghdad Monday night.”

When will Americans wake up, there comes a distinct time when “numerous mistakes” and “carelessness” goes beyond “gaffes” and becomes “signs and symptoms” of a very serious mental incapacity; [6] given the number and the importance of McCain’s “gaffes”, we have now reached that time!!! America does not need another president suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia while in office. “Experience” is not an asset when one has lost the ability to use all his brain cells! We need a President who can differentiate the here and now from the past, fact from fiction, reality from fantasy and desire! We need a President who is intelligent, one who is capable of serious thought, one who can think on his feet and has the ability to solve critical complex problems! John McCain is not that President, he just plain does not measure up!
