Open-minded as opposed to narrow-minded: It’s time to clarify what it means to be a LIBERAL, a generous person, favoring gradual reform, especially political reforms that extend democracy, distribute wealth more evenly, and protect the personal freedom of the individual. In other words a progressive person, who is kind of heart and noble of spirit! Exactly what the Founding Fathers wanted for these United States of America, as evidenced by the Constitution! Then, of course, there is the CONSERVATIVE, a cautious person, reluctant to accept change, in favor of preserving the status quo and traditional values and customs, and against abrupt change. In other words, a narrow-minded, Regressive person reverting to an earlier, less developed condition or way of behaving that represents everything our Founding Fathers wanted to change, also as evidenced by the Constitution!

Election 2000, and 2004 are proof positive the Chinese aren’t the only ones “hacking computers” here in America! [3] Hmm, there are a few hackers here in the good ole U.S. of A. who can guarantee an election, and they all seem to be working for the radical right as we witnessed in elections 2000 and 2004! Stolen with the click of a mouse, and a tricky computer, they managed to put “Dumbya” in office and America in peril, twice!!!

“KING … ‘Cynthia Ruccia, co-founder of Women For Fair Politics, a Democratic party activist…will now vote for John McCain. Cynthia, why?’ [4] RUCCIA; ‘Our organization is about sexism … our subject is really sexism.’” Now that makes about as much sense as “teats on a boar hog”! The reasoning and logic of people focused on a single issue only, is why we Americans find ourselves in the mess we have today! Rather than vote for what’s best for the country as a whole, there are those who will root out one single issue and they will let everything else go the way of the wind, which in the end does no one any good! And the joke of the day is on Ms. Ruccia! Thinking John McCain is not a sexist is by far the most ridiculous notion anyone ever conjured up!!!! “ [5]John McCain is one of only a few Senators to earn a Zero percent lifetime rating from Planned Parenthood’s Action Fund [6]… Let’s look at his record: He voted against requiring health care plans to cover birth control (3/22/03). He voted against comprehensive, medically accurate sex education (7/25/06). He voted against international family planning funding (3/14/96). He voted against funding to prevent teen and unintended pregnancies (3/17/05). He voted against public education for emergency contraception (3/17/05). And he voted against restoring Medicaid funding that could be used for family planning for low-income women (3/17/05). NPR reported (2/2/08) that, ‘Many Republican voters seem to believe, incorrectly, that the current Republican front-runner, Arizona Senator John McCain, supports abortion rights.’ John McCain wants us to believe that he’s a moderate who supports improving the health of women in the United States, but in fact he’s among the most extreme members of Congress who voted against common sense measures on family planning, sex education and access to basic healthcare.” He also wants to overturn Roe by appointing Supreme Court judges who lean very far to the radical right! Women’s rights and women’s issues will not be championed by John McCain or any other Repuglican!

Just have to wonder is this an indication of things to come??? Some pertinent questions to ask: Why is the Bush “private army” procuring weapons in the name of local law enforcement, [7] why are sheriff’s deputies practicing with AK-47’s??? Why is “Blackwater” training local law enforcement??? What does the Bush administration have planned for us, between now and January 2009????

A point that must be made over and over again! “The McCain-Bush policies have not made America safer [8] … Senator McCain, President Bush, they were wrong on the Iraq War … taking our sights off Osama bin Laden … they put all their eggs in Musharraf's basket … Wexler concluded by noting that Congress also has an important role to play. ‘We need to hold the Bush-McCain positions accountable and engage, in my view, in inquiry of impeachment with respect to the lies that the Bush administration foisted on the American people as they took us to war in Iraq.’" Ignoring the law and negating justice is just a green light for power hungry, money grubbing, war-mongering, chickenhawk politicians to keep on, keeping on! George Bush and Dick Cheney must be held accountable, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, and then PROSECUTE!

“Torture Policy Defenders, Addington and Yoo, Play Games, Parse Words in Testimony on Capitol Hill.” [8] “Yoo won't answer whether Bush can bury someone alive.” [9] This ain’t about “blowing up frogs” [10] anymore! “Bush's boyhood friend Terry Throckmorton … we'd put firecrackers in the frogs and throw them and blow them up’ ... ‘while an undergrad at Yale University, Bush was a president of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, which engaged in initiation procedures described as ‘sadistic and obscene,’ [11] including burning pledges with a hot branding iron.'” Obviously, animal abusers grow up to become people abusers!
