Subject: Article On Bush Speech In Jerusalem
I read BuzzFlash daily and respect your work. I do think you need to be better about some claims you make. You say in the headline that Bush said during his speech that it was Israel's 120th Anniversary, and chide him for bad math. Reading the speech reveals that he was at a section where he was imagining Israel 60 years from now - he was looking forward to the future. At that time, he says, Israel will be celebrating its 120th Anniversary. Many times throughout the speech Bush recognizes that it is now, today, Israel's 60th Anniversary.
I can't stand that man, and it pains me to defend him, but you, BuzzFlash, seem to be promoting news that is pure and independent. That cause is hurt when you make such a biased claim that is obviously wrong.

Subject: Clinton And Her Followers
I'm 63 years old, have always been a Democrat, and never thought I would see the racism that exist today in our party. I was under the foolish assumption that Democrats could not be bigoted. Racism was simply not in a Democrat's DNA. I also believed that fascism and corporate control of our government was anathema to the party's ideals and those of Roosevelt and Kennedy. Boy was I delusional.
It's a damned disgrace what's happening today. Hillary is pro war, pro fascist, and anti progressive as hell. Her goal is to maintain the status quo in Washington and honor her promises to the lobbyists and corporate friends she has accrued over the years. They have made her rich and have converted her to their way of thinking.
Obama would be a fool to place Hillary on the ticket. She would become along with Bill his Dick Cheney!
I used to swear by Hillary, but somewhere along the way she became "Liebermanistic." All I had to do was look at her voting record and her unbridled support of the most hated and contemptuous man to ever hold the Presidency. I've always wondered why many in our party supported Bush and Cheney and failed Al Gore in 2000. I've also wondered why Bill was always a proponent of weapons sales around the world. Just how deep does the corporate war machine have their talons into the Clinton's?
This primary race has opened my eyes wide. Thank you Hillary for revealing the truth.

Subject: Declaration Of Independence
My husband read the Declaration of Independence in its entirety for the first time today declaring it, "very inspiring and thought provoking".
We are extremely fortunate to have such profoundly reasonable and wise leaders at the most vital time in our history. Yet today, people spit on the sacrifices and efforts of the TRUE PATRIOTS who after a REAL war on this soil and as our future government acknowledged in a unique document our natural freedoms (AND 9/11 DOES NOT CHANGE THAT!!). Today, we are sacrificing those very freedoms in the name of an elusive falsehood misnomered "freedom". What an oxymoron!
To be honest, I do not see what either the national anthem or the Declaration of Independence have to do with sports (or the circus, etc.), but to some proudly ignorant rednecks I know who got upset that the Declaration of Independence was recited during this year's super bowl pre-game, I say,
"Don't get mad when I don't say the pledge or sing the national anthem when you don't want to hear the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution/Bill of Rights. For whom is this country free - those who sing the national anthem and are pro-life (yet gung-ho about executions and genocide) or those who believe in freedom? Seems the BILL of RIGHTS protects BOTH.
Don't get mad if I don't 'support the troops' (which really means supporting Monkey Mouse and Lon Cheney) when you don't recognize and appreciate the sacrifices of those who died during the Revolution to make you TRULY free. So it didn't happen YESTERDAY, and they are not YOUR sons and daughters - their pivotal struggle is the defining moment of YOUR freedoms. You wouldn't enjoy a vast beautiful country, a high standard of living and human rights without people like Paul Revere who made it possible! You wouldn't even EXIST! You shred the Constitution, yet decry flag burning - where are your priorities?! Get your head out of your arse. Ultimately and foolishly, you're throwing it all away, and you're taking the rest of U.S. with you on your sinking ship."
Sadly, even the people reciting the Declaration of INDEPENDENCE that day probably did not comprehend a single word they were uttering. This is reminiscent of false piety in church: after giving God the requisite hour a week, any thoughts of true piety are abandoned at the door. And that's precisely what ignorant sheeple do when they sing The Star Spangled Banner in religious worship (cap removal and hand-over-heart is NO DIFFERENT from genuflecting at Mass). to a soulless *FLAG* - PATRIOTICALLY made in CHINA. But when removed from the patriotic moment, irrationally denounce those who believe in the Bill of Rights, which our PATRIOTS made possible.
And it all began with the DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE.

Subject: Continuing Stupidity
For the life of me I just can't fathom how the Neopublicons can be so continually stupid. How many polls need to be taken? How many elections need to be lost before the majority of these clowns in the federal government finally get the idea through their thick skulls that the people of this country are telling them loudly and clearly that we are sick of their bovine feces?
The Republicans are eating each other alive and Boehner is on the hook for their most recent election failures. So, what do they (and presumably McCain) decide to do? Continue to embrace and run on Bush's platform.
I just listened to Hillary Clinton's interview with Brian Williams. She has said that 17 million have voted for and millions more have provided support for her and she won't quit because of that. Doesn't she get that millions more have voted for Obama and that millions more have contributed to his campaign? What is Clinton doing? As I see it, she also is embracing (and has embraced) Bush's platform -- particularly with respect to Iraq and Iran. She voted for the War on Iraq and has recently suggested that Iran be obliterated.
I had always had a modicum of respect for Ms. Clinton. However, the past several months have changed my opinion almost 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Any respect I had for her has dwindled to practically nothing.
Our country has declined so much over the past eight years and people like the Republicans and the Democrats who have supported Republican initiatives, such as Ms. Clinton have enabled them.
Yet, they STILL don't GET IT! If these highly educated (and overly paid) people are the best we can supposedly do, then why don't we just national lotteries to determine who will represent us in Washington DC? We certainly couldn't be any worse off.
In fact, I now believe that people who are highly educated are so far removed from reality, that we might be better off to send the real Americans to DC to run the country. We need kitchen table economics and down home common sense.
There is no way in hell I will ever vote for another Republican although it has been years since I have done so. I can't vote for Clinton as she just seems to be a Republican lite. I will vote for change in the form Barack Obama.
Oh, and Ms. Clinton's attempts to compare herself to JFK a few days ago turned my stomach. How pathetic is that? Was this supposed to be some kind of payback for the Kennedy family endorsing and supporting Obama months ago? With as conniving and transparent as she has revealed herself to be I can't help but wonder.
The continuing stupidity is overwhelming and breathtaking.

If you latecomers do not realize, the Nation is going into a depression caused deliberately to consolidate power. The War on drugs and terror were both bogus. Mr Bush and Dick Cheney need to be facing [accountability]. The number of dead American soldiers is 500 more than what has been reported by the press. Fox news by Rupert Murdock has to be the worst person of the world. Every ideal of free press and the 4th arm of government has been subverted.
Thank you BuzzFlash for finally giving the truthers some play. Keith Olbermann is the only member of Media that should be able to keep his job. Subject: Will Bush vote for McCain if it means no golf?
President Bush recently revealed that he had given up playing Golf because of the Iraq war stating, "I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal." But now that McCain has indicated that we might be in Iraq for 100 more years it makes you wonder if he might vote for Obama or Clinton so that he can start playing Golf again in his lifetime.

I would like to address the continuing phenomenon of gender and racism that invariably thrives to a festering point during the election cycle. The candidates always take the blame for any remark made against their opponent whether it has merit or just was said in the ever changing dynamics of their campaigns. The press immediately swoops down like a bunch of insane and out of control vultures, or perhaps more apropos, loonie birds. They then proceed to change the meaning of a statement entirely, feeding the ever present gullible readers and listeners with an absolutely skewered version of what was actually said.
What is even worse is the continuing saga of the inevitable statistics of how ethnic and religious groups are voting. The poor white, the poor black, the poor Latino, the middle class white, the middle class black, the middle class Latino and on an on into infinity with the Asians, the Muslims, the Gypsies the Catholics, the Jews: you name it, they'll have statistics for it. There are even times when they have the black people pitted against each other according to the degree of their blackness. How utterly grotesque and how totally divisive. We seem to have forgotten elections are supposed to be held by American citizens. How often do you see the name "American" standing alone in the media's breakdowns?
The point being, it is the media that continually divides the country with their ongoing race baiting and trying to pass it on as reporting. If anyone doubts this, just take the time to watch or read Bill Clinton's speech where he happens to use the descriptive word "fairy tale" to try and make a point. This was just the beginning of how the media took one of our country's most respected civil rights leaders and tried to make him look like a racist. When the truth became apparent they still chose to repeat the distortion and enough innuendo was created to change the dynamics of the primaries.
You don't have to be an Obama or Clinton supporter. Just make the effort to read the transcripts or watch the videos to see exactly what was said in its entirety. With just a little bit of open-mindedness, your whole perspective of what constitutes responsible reporting will change. Unless of course you are one of those whose opinion is completely in the hands of the bought and paid for members of our not so fair and unbalanced media, whether it be conservative and most recently, even liberal. How sad.
We now come to how the media manipulates public opinion polls. They choose their hero or favored topic of the moment and report continual favorable items about their chosen pets. They continue detrimental reports against those who they are told to target. If this is hard to understand just go back in the recent past and read or listen to the Democratic debates. Every instant poll right after the debates had Hillary Clinton the clear winner. This is fact. Just take the time to do a little research and the truth will be found. Subsequently the self-proclaimed ‘hardball' media takes over and finds every mistake Hillary Clinton made and exploits them. To be sure she made mistakes, but not a many as her opponents. This was also confirmed by viewers immediately after each debate. The difference being, their mistakes were not dissected the way Hillary's were. Also watch the glee on the faces of the so-called unbiased reporters when Mrs. Clinton is losing a primary and the chagrin when she wins.
The point of all this is, they do have a fan base and their slanted reporting is helping to shape elections and this should not be acceptable. The facts do not get reported accurately and ultimately the best and the brightest do not get a fair representation. Two words that can best show this to be true are "George Bush."

Payback time may not be nigh, but it will come soon enough.
Not one of Obama's horses nor one of Clinton's men has mentioned war crimes or impeachment to put national accountability back together again. So there will be no American resurrection for a people that has betrayed its national character for lost security at the expense of millions of innocents. It will never have it again, because it doesn't deserve it. Delusional, with its contemporary armed might, it is a doomed land bereft of allies, hated by all, and left behind in the dust of a world that has moved on and away from its Evil Empire.
