There is something to be said for getting out among the masses to see for ourselves the fun and madness of this Democratic Party presidential battle royale. We offered to go to the caucuses in Hawai'i in February, got turned down. Perhaps the Guam caucus [2] on Saturday, we thought.
When going through the BuzzFlash travel budget, we realized that it was about as empty as Pooh's pot of honey [3].
But I am going to go to Indiana to see what I can see this weekend. If Obama or Clinton is speaking north of Indianapolis, I will try to be there. Otherwise, there are no set plans other than to see what I can see and talk to real Hoosiers. When I have been asked what I will do, I say, "Wander Indiana [4]" (an actual former Indiana tourism marketing slogan).
But is there some element you would like to see covered that has been missing in the campaign? What would you ask Hoosiers if you had the chance? Let us know what you think.
