BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

A big Thank You to Cynthia for her "FYI” of yesterday [0]The Daily Show. [1] regarding my “Backpack” commentary. I believed the “Backpack” news was from Michael Ware, and even verified it with my husband, who also thought it was Michael Ware (obviously, a “senile moment” for both of us)! Thanks for straightening me out, as I wouldn’t want to accuse anyone of something they did not do, and that includes CNN! My apologies to all concerned. As Cynthia pointed out, Alex Kingsbury from US News & World Report, referred to the backpacks of money in his interview on

The “Hillary” campaign must be borrowing Rove’s Rules for Presidential Primary Campaigning! [2] They are doing everything the electorate is fed up with in politics! The down and dirty smear and slander kind of campaigning [2] has come and gone for the American people, it’s the very reason Obama’s campaign message of “hope and change” has been so successful! America has had enough of war, be it in the desert or on Mainstreet U.S.A., be it in Iraq or right here at home, be it bombs and bullets or mud-slinging to usurp an opponent, America has had enough already!

There is no pride in shenanigans like this! Our money, “as much as nearly $300 million,” is being spent on faulty munitions! And if you want to know why we’ve lost the respect of most of the rest of the world, these are the kind of goings on that does not make friends! “… to arm the Afghan forces … the American military has relied since early last year on a fledgling company led by a 22-year-old man whose vice president was a licensed masseur [3]. ... the company has provided ammunition that is more than 40 years old and in decomposing packaging, according to an examination of the munitions by The New York Times and interviews with American and Afghan officials. Much of the ammunition comes from the aging stockpiles of the old Communist bloc, including stockpiles that the State Department and NATO [4] have determined to be unreliable and obsolete, and have spent millions of dollars to have destroyed.”

Oh, Anderson, are you becoming just like the rest of mainstream corporate media’s bobble heads? Are you willing to sell out, too? Are you about the business of perpetrating the myth that “liberal” has a negative connotation? “Obama too liberal? He says he's a progressive ... a post-partisan uniter. But others brand Barack Obama with the L-word. [5] Is he ‘too liberal’ to be President?” “Liberal” literally means “broadminded and tolerant of different views and standards of behavior in others, favoring gradual reform especially political reforms that extend democracy, distribute wealth more evenly, and protect the personal freedom of the individual and generous”! While conservative means “reluctant to accept change.” I am a LIBERAL and proud of it!

Doesn’t sound like the “surge” is working to me! [6]Dozens killed as Iraq fighting rages” [7] and [8]FBI identifies remains of US contractors”! [9] We’re being sold a bill of goods! We’ve been scammed right from the very beginning, it’s just lies, lies and more lies!
