Clinton Campaign Sinks to New Low in Playing Race-Osama Card Through Drudge Report

CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA

CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA
Mon Feb 25 2008 06:51:00 ET

With a week to go until the Texas and Ohio primaries, stressed Clinton staffers circulated a photo over the weekend of a "dressed" Barack Obama.

The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat frontrunner fitted as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya.

The senator was on a five-country tour of Africa.

"Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC?" questioned one campaign staffer, in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.

In December, the campaign asked one of its volunteer county coordinators in Iowa to step down after the person forwarded an e-mail falsely stating that Barack Obama is a Muslim.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe quickly accused the Clinton campaign Monday of 'shameful offensive fear-mongering' for circulating the snap.

Clinton campaign manager Maggie Williams responds: "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed."

[Drudge Report] EDITOR'S NOTE: Other leaders have worn local costumes:

BuzzFlash Note: This is the first item that we have ever posted from the Drudge Report, courtesy of the Clinton campaign. The Clinton campaign wants the Obama image to sear into the brain of those who will associate it with Africans and Arabs (the Osama look?). We just want to barf at these reprehensible tactics. Hillary Clinton has lost all credibility as a person of integrity and basic decency.

Additional BuzzFlash Note: Response from Hillary Clinton's campaign to the objections of the Obama campaign at this kind of racial, Drudge Report gutter tactic. See the statement of Clinton's Campaign Manager. The Clinton campaign doesn't deny it placed the photo; it doesn't renounce the e-mail; it doesn't acknowledge the race card; instead, it blames the Obama campaign.

BuzzFlash Update from USA TODAY:

We've asked the Clinton campaign for its comment. The Politico writes that "the Clinton campaign did not deny the charge, but did not comment further."

Update at 10:58 a.m. ET. This statement was just e-mailed to reporters from Maggie Williams, manager of the Clinton campaign:

"Enough.

"If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.

"This is nothing more than an obvious and transparent attempt to distract from the serious issues confronting our country today and to attempt to create the very divisions they claim to decry."

"We will not be distracted."

Update at 12:35 p.m. ET:

Clinton campaign spokesman Mo Elleithee has told USA TODAY's Kathy Kiely that he doesn't know if anyone on the Clinton staff circulated the photo. He also says, Kathy reports, that "if the point someone on our staff is trying to make is that the press treats us differently; it does."

Also: Earlier we referred to what Obama was wearing as "Somali," as Drudge had reported. The Associated Press is calling it "traditional, local" garb. The senator was in Kenya at the time, near the border with Somalia.

"Obama camp needs to apologize to Clinton over Photo Add to Hotlist

by DaTruth, Tue Feb 26, 2008 at 08:47:55 AM EST

Here is ABSOLUTE PROOF that this so-called Clinton "leak" of this Obama Somali dress photo is bogus. Follow the timeline.

Time: Saturday night, February 23, 7:25pm Pacific. Some right-wing poster at freerepublic.com posts a scanned photo --taken from the National Examiner supermarket tabloid of February 4, 2008-- of Obama in the Somali clothing.

Freerepublic.com post Saturday Night February 23.

Later freerepublic posts specifically state that someone has to "get this to Drudge".

As regards Drudge, who in their right mind would think that someone from the Clinton campaign would say "Hey Drudge, post this photo of Obama and please state that it was leaked by a Clinton Campaign Staffer!". Patently absurd.

This case is closed, and the Obama campaign now has to make it clear that it's the right-wing that's trying to damage him, NOT Senator Clinton's campaign, with this photograph. If they don't, it's tantamount to perpetuating a lie.

Yeah, I know...Now the mantra will be "I bet it was a Clinton staffer who posted it on freerepublic!". Please...don't bother with that crap. Enough is enough. "

****

It's one thing to be pro-Obama, but to become so rabidly against Clinton is not helping this party, either.

Disappointed with Buzzflash

I'm deeply disappointed with Buzzflash. This site has turned into merely another website devoted to Obama. I'm a John Edwards supporter. I prefer to read "news". In the most recent weeks Buzzflash has shown its true colors. It's obvious you have people on your staff that are over the top for Obama. This site and the Dailykos as well have turned into sites that don't allow any type of real conversation about the "issues". This is a non-issue. I care deeply about the war in Iraq, the economy and health care. Obama farts and you guys sniff it and think it smells good. This is sick and so sad that the true sense of democracy on these two websites has disappeared. I want to know what Obama or Clinton plan on doing about the war, the economy and health care. John Edwards had the plans. He just couldn't compete with this kind of over the top attention to "personality". It would be nice to know what Obama and Clinton plan for education, our failing infrastructure and for disasters like the hurricane in NOLA. I used to go to Buzzflash every day looking for links to news. Now I feel that you guys are so biased I better find other ways to get to the meat of the issues. Since there seems to be a lot of "shame" going around on these on both of these prominent Democratic campaigns, well, shame on you Buzzflash for crawling into the gutter with them!

I am a John Edwards

I am a John Edwards supporter and truth be told, the best candidate has already left the campaign.

So many of these so called political blogs have become Obama sites...yes, they have partaken of the Kool-Aid.
The political debate has no longer interesting, it's become a farce. The media decided that they were in love with Obama and they would only publish positive, glowing reports about him. The reports and clips on Obama have been so nice, you'd think he walks on water. This is something very wrong. Obama has a lot of connections within the Chicago Democratic Machine and has international connections supplying his campaign with money.

If you think he's made all that money with little contributions, think again.

I think this story in the NYTimes has legs:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/26/us/politics/26union.html?ex=1361768400&en=60b7d5e0ed956598&ei=5124&partner=permalink&exprod=permalink

Obama only likes special interest money when he gets is.

The union reported in federal filings that it had spent $1.4 million in the two states on Mr. Obama’s behalf, an effort that immediately came under sharp attack from the campaign of his rival, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The Clinton campaign accused Mr. Obama of hypocrisy, saying he had criticized Mr. Edwards in Iowa for receiving similar support. Mr. Obama called that support “underhanded” and deserving of “further scrutiny.”

Mr. Obama has denounced special-interest money and the Democrats who have taken it, a point the Clinton campaign emphasized in a conference call with reporters.

“When it was in Obama’s interest to criticize Edwards over outside spending, he did so,” said Howard Wolfson, a Clinton campaign spokesman. “Now when it is in his interest to remain silent, he is.”,

Obama is a phony, an empty, this generation's Elmer Gantry.

Hillary is not what America needs at this moment in time

There is a political machine waiting to take on Hillary Clinton in the event she wins the Democratic nomination. The same machine will have a much more difficult time taking on Obama. Hillary has her fans but she has far more Americans that dislike her and will vote against her, especially independents who abhor the idea of 30 years of Bush's and Clintons at the helm of the USA.

Hillary is smart but not nearly what America needs at this moment in time.

In reality the Bush-Clinton era hasn't been that good for America as we've run up deficits to China and others, and outsourced jobs and allowed illegal immigrants to cut wages for Americans. Obviously the last Bush 7 years have been a travesty.

Clinton

I'm not sure if weather Obama will lose, but I know that Clinton CANNOT win.

What in the world happened

What in the world happened to Buzzfash?? I cannot believe in a couple of months it has turned into a slime Blog!! This kind of Rhetoric is what keeps Republicans in office. No more donations from
me Buzzflash!! You have drank the cool aid & joined the cult! I just don't understand.

It would not surprise me to see a headline one day saying ""Obama campaign donated $200,000 to
Buzzflash blog site"" during campaign.

I'm sure you heard about Obama blowing his nose & the crowd going nuts. Unbelievable! What a
sorry state of mind Democrats have sunk to. You've let a hard right Republican (Druge) blog bait you into a swiftboating of our party. Karl Rove has already started the engine on his mean machine.
He is going to rip Obama apart if he gets the nomination. O'rielly Has already said they have a
bombshell ready to splash on him. They have fooled you people into thinking they wanted to run
against Hillary. The Republicans & the main street Media's job was to knock Hillary out so they
could run against Obama. The Media's treatment of Clinton has been ruthless. Ask youself who owns
the different networks. (or look it up) They have done their job well.
McCain & the Media will destroy Obama.

Incendiary Blonde

"With every delegate precious, Mrs. Clinton’s advisers also made it clear that they were prepared to take a number of potentially incendiary steps to build up Mrs. Clinton’s count. Top among these, her aides said, is pressing for Democrats to seat the disputed delegations from Florida and Michigan, who held their primaries in January in defiance of Democratic Party rules." - NYTimes, February 14, 2008.

I guess "incendiary steps" have ratcheted up from disputed delegations, although Mrs. Clinton's Kampaign has been willing to undertake such steps from the beginning. We see the lengths the Clintonistas are willing to go to achieve their ends. What kind of country do you think you'd be living in with these "Masters of Doom" at the helm?

Picture Appeared in National Examiner on Feb 4, 2008

This picture was in the National Examiner on Feb 4 and Obama never mentioned it then.
Once again Buzzflash jumped to the conclusion that Hillary was guilty. You defended
Drudge of all people.....Howard Wolfson told Andrea Mitchell it didn't come from them.
One wonders why Obama got so upset with a picture that didn't accuse him of anything.
It simply showed him in traditional garb, perhaps that is the problem. This is the man after all who avoided the Jenna Six march and stayed away from Tavis Smiley's Black Forum this weekend. The blogs all hailed him as being for all Americans by doing that. Is he afraid that his "for all Americans" image might in some way be tainted by this picture? If that is so, it is a sad commentary on who he really is.

Obama insulted all black people

Not only did his arrogance not allow him the time to attend the State of the Black Union, one of the most important meeting held every year to discuss African American issues both domestically and international, but that SOB tried to send HIS WIFE as a replacement.

HIS WIFE?!?!?!?!?!?!!

She is not running for President, BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT

That was a slap to the face to Tavis Smiley and the black community. Obama has such contempt for black people that he figures what the hell he care about us? We are going to vote for him. He needs to convince the white folks that he's one of "them" (which he isn't).

Not all of us black folks are drinking the Kool-Aid. The African-American community in this country never did better financially, economically, socially or political than in the CLINTON YEARS! Most black people don't know a damn thing about this man, but vote because he's black. So I guess if you are a woman, it's okay to vote for Hillary just because she's a woman. And if you are an old white man, you should be voting for McCain.

Hillary did attend the conference, she gave Tavis her word. She flew all the way from Ohio to attend. Obama was right next door in Texas, but didn't find the time to come and thank the black folks who put him on the map! Hillary answered questions and gave details on her plans for health care and education. Obama was no where to be seen. Obama has taken the black vote for granted- I guess that's the white part of Obama showing.

OBAMA IS RUNNING A SCAM, PEOPLE! WAKE UP!!!

Clinton Bashing

I am so tired of the Clinton bashing. I can't believe Buzzflash of all organizations would promote this kind of crap. Obama is not God. He is not the second coming. You people need to get real about this situation. Do you really think we've come so far. It would be hard enough to elect a woman even knowing that her husband was the best thing that ever happened to this country's economy. Just to know he's next to her is comforting; but, do you really think that a black man will be elected president. Let's get real. When these white people get in the voting booth old prejudices will come back and John McCain with be the next president. Of course, they don't want Hillary. She's the only one that has a chance now but you lemmings just keep right on going with "Yes we can" and "change." This is no change. You're dreaming Democrats and you're doing the same thing you did the last time...being stupid. Another 100 years of Iraq. Go Obama!!

I'm tired too...Clinton bashing has become sport

I'm tired too of it.

The only people running "negative" campaign is Obama...and he gets the media to do it, while standing high on his pedestal.

Well, you know what they say about the higher you are... the HARDER YOU FALL.

Real experience, real change, real solutions.

GO HILLARY '08

Abstain Before Clinton

Before the primary season got into full swing, I was considering voting for Clinton. But after showing that she's nothing more that another politician trying to get elected because she thinks its a swell gig, I cannot bring myself to vote for her if she wins. Her campaign is trying to paint a picture to undecided dittoheads and it's absoulutly disgusting.

Obama disciples are the ditto-heads

and I find THAT absolutely disgusting.

dredge report

amazing how bf blames clinton for every thing, maybe bf and their obama second coming believers, will piss off so many clinton voters that, just maybe come the fall we will no only not vote for obama, but we will cross the isle and vote for a REPUK just to show the extreme left that we will not let them control us as the extreme right controlled them. bf needs to stop being the fox news of the left, you claim you started this web for telling the truth,HOW ABOUT STARTING AGAIN,YOU KNOW BACK UP TRUTH RATHER THAN ANYTHING TO MAKE OBAMA LOOK LIKE YOUR SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Buzzflash Sinks to New Low

As a dedicated democrat, I'm appalled at how Buzz is handling this campaign - talk about going off half-cocked...

I've been supporting Obama because I thought he was our best chance against McCain - now I'm not so sure - at least Hillary knows how to face down the right-wingers. If our man can't take the relatively mild heat the Clinton campaign is sending his way, he's toast when the echo chamber shifts into high hear. Good grief, get a grip...

McCain will not win

I don't care what the polls are saying since the only sample about 1500 people and this is a country of about 300 million.

Hillary can beat McCain just as well as Obama.
These polls can change in a heart beat. McCain is a weak candidate. Even the Republicans know that.

Let me just remind people (and I'm going to keep doing it) about 1948, when Truman ran against Thomas Dewey.
Every single political journalist said that Truman was going to lose...every single poll said that Truman was going to lose.
Truman stayed out there, pushing, railing against the Republicans who were undermining his attempts to make real change in America (Truman was the FIRST president to suggest putting together an universal healthcare plan).

His supporters said "Give 'em hell, Harry!" But the press said it was futile. Dewey as smooth talker, charming, well educated New Yorker. Everyone predicted that Truman would lose. Even the Chicago Tribune (still a filthy rag today) had the headline, "Dewey Defeats Truman" and no one thought the American public would vote for someone so vilified in the press.

Well, Truman won. So I say...

GIVE 'EM HELL, HILLARY!!!!

Nice use of BOLD (JK!)

lol, and who are you gonna vote for Magginkat? Nader? Jesus was prolly palestinian BTW. I'm sure that Matt Drudge appriciates you leaping to his defense like a good lil repug.

"It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority." -Ben Franklin

RE: Nice Use of Bold

Actually I am in Florida and have already voted for Edwards but you know what happened to those votes don't you?

I had planned to vote for Obama if he is the nominee but considering the republican effort to nominate him and the horse manure like what's posted here I might just do a write in for Hillary.

I don't know where the hell you got the idea that I jumped to the defense of Drudge but then that's probably the reason you can't see anything but that phony halo over Obama's head.

As for being a repug, I am assuming that you are describing youself. Personally, I would rather vote for Osama bin Laden than a republican.

Just wait till Jesus gets his hands on you, you little bastard.... Abbie Hoffman

Clinton campaign did it?

This is the statement from Clinton's campaign manager:
"If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.

This is nothing more than an obvious and transparent attempt to distract from the serious issues confronting our country today and to attempt to create the very divisions they claim to decry.

We will not be distracted."

So her campaign must have planted the photo in the Drudge Report where all the Democrats(!?) do swiftboating. Or could there be other explanations such as more divisive nonsense from the right wingers? And BF has fallen for it.

HYPOCRISY IS THY MIDDLE NAME BUZZFLASH!

And look how buzzflash(devoted Obama girls) sent this out making it look as though it went only to Drudge when, in fact I have seen it on several sites today.... and saw it on CNN earlier today.

Honestly it looks as though those who have swallowed the Obama kool aid are totally hypnotized or else they had been practicing the Bush lying & deceit this past 7 long years.

Does Buzzflash think that they have maintained their credibility for their hand in a lop sided campaign favoring their savior who has miraculously been raptured down to save us.

Yeah.... I'll believe their proclaimed innocence the same time I believe that we have finally found our Black Jesus or that Bush & Cheney are innocent good guys who have been slandered by the press!

PS: Someone suggest to the Democrats that maybe they should save that "blue dress" that Bush is wearing so they can check it for stains.

Just wait till Jesus gets his hands on you, you little bastard.... Abbie Hoffman

can't believe that BF is playing this card

Posting info that has Fudge Report as its sole source? That's a let down to this bf reader and customer of some years now.

Did you ever think that this was some drudge-ry to change the focus of the dem primary? Misdirect the crap again on to another irrelevant subject? Sounds like drudge fudge to me.

And how the hell do you think Clinton's campaign would respond? On the defense? *like the drudge report wants them to?*

Their response was correct - the topic is easily refuted, jsut by using the same damn photos that proves that both Clintons did the same damn thing, so they responded to the one remaining crucial point: how the hell can Obama's campaign suck up and play stupid with Matt Drudge?

How about that for a subject? "Obama Campaign Resorts to Right-Wing Drudge for Assistance in Mud Tossing"

Jokers in the Deck

One could "imagine" anything. If you think that this tactic is too sleazy and so easily refuted, it's too bad Hillary does not have you managing her campaign. Unfortunately, we all cannot be running down the infinite pathways of your imagination. Until it is demonstrated that the Obama campaign is now swiftboating itself, your theories will be trumped by reality. The cards that Hilary and her surrogates have dealt so far have come off the bottom of the deck. The other players call her out but she does not seem to get the message. Ultimately, she will have to fold her hand, take the cards out from up her sleeve and cash in her few remaining chips while she still has any.

show the cards, NONsense!

Show me those cards you claim Clinton's campaign have dealt!
The only instance of any campaign stupidity was when some state campaign worker made some crappy juvenile email go out, and *that campaign worker was fired*.

This is a claim made by Matt Drudge. HE was the dealer. And this claim had two possible results: 1) Obama would believe it, and 2) Clinton would boldly speak out against it in defense. In either scenario, and in which BOTH could possibly result, whichever one worked would make that party look like stupid.

THe results were: 1) Obama's campaign believed it and cried about it, and 2) Clinton's campaign told them all to go play with themselves for making such idiotic claims and believing such idiotic claims. Instead of playing for it - making some defensive, back-pedaling statement like Drudge was hoping for - Clinton's staff shut them all up.

Matt Drudge is laughing his a$$ off at Obama. And at folks like you, too, for believing it.

As for Obama campaign staff, to compare with the stupid incidient of a Clinton campaign staffperson: in Ohio and in South Carolina, Obama campaign staff told voters that they couldn't vote for Edwards - and because his wife was near death; and Edwards wouldn't be able to run a country while in remorse over his dead wife, now would he? (and I'm scaling down the words I was told to ones of more humane nature) Those staffpersons are still with the Obama campaign. At least CLinton fired hers.

Jokers are Wild (and a Bit Touchy)

The entire Klinton Kampaign beginning with moist eyes in New Hampshire through Rezko, plagiarism, the Chelsea comment soap opera, phony outrage over the NAFTA mailing, and now Obama in costume (this list has been seriously abbreviated) has been one long attempt to win by deceit, slander, manipulation and intimidation. The voters are trump in this game and that really burns the Klinton butt.

...sure....keep misdirecting....that will help...

I personally am damn glad that Clinton did Obama a favor and brought up Rezko in debate; it gave him opportunity to address the fact that a man who worked on every one of his campaigns, and who even purchased property with him, and who was established as longtime friend of his, was under investigation for violating campaign laws. And she brought up before the republicans did, and you know the manner in which they would have tried to smear that out - sort of like Drudge does!!!

(Obama lied about Rezko in the debate, unfortunately, worsening his circumstances when the republicans bring it up this summer....sheesh, what an idiot...he'd have been better off right now if he had just told the whole story instead of making false statements)

Not that that has anything to do with this subject at hand, unfortunately. If you're going to defend this Drudge crap, *stay on the subject* whydontcha?

As for the moist eyes - what does that have to do with this topic of Drudge? NAFTA? i'll join you in b!+c#ing about that one - but it has nothing to do with this subject. Chelsea? blame the press, and for both doing that crap and for punishing themselves - but she's not the subject, either.

This "Obama in costume" topic is the subject. And you're still not answering for it. You're falling for some stupid attempt to misdirect topics by Matt Drudge - just like Obama's staff did. I was hoping you were at least a tad bit smarter than them, but....guess not! Because you're resorting to misdirection and more smear. (...makes you sound like Obama staff I met and tolerated, actually....)

The idiocy of these claims by Drudge, the idiocy of Obama's staff in buying it and whining about it, and the idiocy of so many who are believing this whole thing and blaming Clinton for it, is driving away democratic voters. It's doing it to me - i will *definitely* go thrid party before I ever let myself be identified with Obamidiots.

As a tip to you, youngster - you're supposed to *STAY ON THE SUBJECT* - don't try the misdirectional crap that republicans pull.

"Youngster" Acts Up

Oh, this is sweet. I probably haven't been called youngster since before you were born. Thanks for the uplift. To answer your duplicitous rant, none of what I alluded to was off topic, if the topic is Hillary's negative Kampaign talking-points, of which this example on Drudge is merely the latest example. But you need desperately to change the subject, to call Obama a liar, basically to carry on in the very manner your heroine inspires. Well, it does not seem to be working very well. The American people have really had it with these lame attempts to frighten them, to stampede them, to con them. What will you do in your spare time once all this negativity subsides?

CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA

Perhaps it's just my imagination, but this article states this photo was taken in 2006 but this picture of Barack Obama looks as though he would've been much younger than what then would've been a 45 year old man.

FLASH: BUZZFLASH SINKS TO NEW LOW

QUOTES FROM DRUDGE REPORT!

And after all, if he says the Clinton campaign did this, it MUST BE TRUE1

DEVELOPING...

You guys are either pathetic losers or liars. How about trying to verify any of this stuff?

Hillary's Kompetence Showing

She has so cleverly positioned her Kampaign that accusations from Drudge that she engages in slimeboating are accepted without question. Did the phrase "poetic justice" ever have more application? Ancient proverb: Play in mud, get dirty.

Let's just be grateful...

Let's just be grateful that Clinton didn't have her staff airbrush an explosive belt onto Obama in the picture.

(Perhaps I shouldn't be giving the Clinton slimeboaters any more ideas.)

Let's just be grateful

askolnick ......You are one sick little puppy!!!

HRC

I agree 100% with erw.

No Low is Too Low

No surprise here. Hillary and her Kampaign stop at nothing. Let's hope nothing is their final stop.

HILLARY'Hitting way below the belt

Hillary Clinton, has set her sites on A new low. When you are losing the race. Go for the balls. They have used every thing but the kitchen sink, and I'm looking for her to use that at the next debate. Stay tuned.

Good for the goose, good for the gander

Say, anybody have any pictures of Hilliary in a threesome with Monica and Bill we can circulate?

Or the two without Bill?

What a despicable low-life she's turned into.

Somebody tell Keith Olbermann it's time to award Hillary, "Worst Person in the World!"

Race-Osama Card Through Drudge Report

ERW

If there are some GROWN-UPS left in the Democratic Party - now is the time for them to have an "intervention."

Rather than allow a candidate to destroy their own reputation, and that of the Democratic Party, it is time for the Party Elders to intervene.

It is time for someone to inform Senator Clinton she should end this divisiveness, and these negative campaign tactics. It is time for her to withdraw from a race she CANNOT win, and it is time for all Democrats to support Senator Obama, the front runner, to bring unity to the Democratic Party, and to work for a victory in November.

These last three days of her campaign has done nothing but supply ammunition to the Republican attack machine. For the sake of the country, it must stop.

No one can "mock" Senator Obama without also "mocking" the millions of people who have already voted for him. Does one think that you can disparage Senator Obama, without also casting dispersions on those same millions of people?

Does the Democratic Party leadership think they, at some point will recapture those votes?

It is time to end this kindergarten madness.

The people of America have spoken in several states. Someone will have to tell Mrs. Clinton what they have said. She seems not to hear any voice but her own.

It is time for the leadership of the Democratic Party to do a serious "intervention" before more irreparable harm is done -- to the country, and to the party.

Works for Me

Interesting idea, an "intervention." If any regular non-presidential-candidate citizen was having these same mood swings, personality shifts, angry outbursts, etc. that Hillary is having, I would think someone who loves them would try to get them help. The mocking thing really got to me yesterday and I think it made her look really pathetic, really desperate, really out of touch with the reality that's going on around her. I've said it before and I'll say it again -- it didn't have to be this way. She didn't have to go all bonkers like this. Hillary had a lot going for her and she could have run this race quite differently. But I guess she felt she had to listen to what all those multi-million dollar advisors were telling her, because for that kind of money, I suppose she felt she should at least get her money's worth. Wrong again.

Move Over Lieberman

I would go even further. Let's invite her to join Joe Lieberman, who probably feels rather lonely as the only Were-Republican in Congress.

As a progressive activist in New York, I will be doing my utmost to retire Clinton from public office as a Democrat. In the future, if she wants to run for any office, she can run as a Liberman Republican.

There can be no room in the Democratic Party for sleaze balls like this. This is what we have Republicans for.

So sad you are buying this crap

It's a set up, people.

Rove wants to destroy Hillary and then will go after Obama.
Rove is not interested in allowing any Democrat into the White House.

But you suckers are buying this crap. By the way, Drudge took that article off his website after he was asked to produce the evidence that Hillary's staff sent him the picture.

This much to do about nothing. Why not ask Obama why he's allowing the unions to spend 1.5 million in one friggin' month for his campaign and Obama NOT call it special interest money. All the while, his camp is complaining about 527 Groups forming to support Hillary.

Face it Obama, we all don't think you are messiah. The apostle Paul warns us in 2 Timothy 4:3,4 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but [wanting] to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths."

Obama the messiah is a myth; Obama the politician for special interest groups is the truth.

Thank you!

I love the last line of your post, askolnick! Best chuckle today! Let's remember that it is BF that is essentially fanning these flames, not Obama or Clinton-they are only responding to BF comments. Barrack may not be "the Black Savior" or the second coming, but he IS a breath of fresh air in the Dem party. He has been able to unite diverse groups in a way not seen for many many years. I will support whoever the party chooses, either HRC or BHO, but really hope for Obama. It's been a very long time since I've felt this amount of hope and enthusiasm, and held a belief that change really can happen. Stop the bickering, kids--put the energy into getting the Republicans out of both the White House and the Senate/House and let's get on with the business of making this country compassionate and great again. (And that includes you, BuzzFlash!!)

Drudge

Wasn't this Drudge web site also involved in spinning the Whitewater story against Bill Clinton. I thought they were a Right wing web site, which I haven't looked at in years. Why and who would get Drudge to spin a story about Clinton and Obama. Where is Karl Rowe.

Well if this picture was released in early Feb by the National Enquirer as posted, whats the problem. Have you seen Bush dressed up when they all were in China.

Not a story. As a supporter of both candidates for President, and one will be the president, it should be dropped before we ourselves spin this against the party of change and all Americans that want the Republicans out.

Oh, So Right

This is definitely not a story, and as noted, every administration has its photos of the prez visiting other countries and wearing some type of traditional garb. (The bush in China photos/videos were hilarious!)
