Laura Hasn't Been Seen Around Much Lately as a Bush Prop. This Tabloid May Know Why.

I'd probably never get beyond the front pages of the rag mags as I stand in the grocery store if it were not for the fact that my mother consumes them and I can't help but flip through them when visiting her.

On a number of ocassions I have seen items reported in these Rag Mags that later (sometimes weeks or months) show up in the "regular" news as true (and sometimes rumored to be true).

All news is tabloid now (or should I say more tabloid), and as in the past, it pays to be skeptical.

Now wouldn't if be funny if all the women in this miserable twirps life would dump him at the same time? Bye, bye Condi, Karen, Laura......... Maybe it would bring on that final breakdown that would excuse Chicken George when he gets Dead Eye Dick's gun & turns it on the owner. Hello President Pelosi!!

I usually take the things I read in the tabloids with a grain of salt, but like most people I want George W. Bush to suffer some seriously ugly karma and this might be just what the gods ordered. I say "might" because there's a good chance he's immune to sorrow or sadness, that would explain his obvious numbness to all the suffering in and because of Iraq.

Oh yes, George W. Bush makes me sick, but frankly I don't think very highly of Laura either. Obviously she is intellectually superior to her husband, but is she morally superior? It seems unlikely because how could she stay with him knowing who and what he is?

It's one thing for a naive or ignorant woman to stay with a philandering, dishonest, intrinsically evil man, but it's quite another thing when the woman is intellectually capable of seeing through the facade.

So, who really cares whether or not he's scoring a Condi and whether or not she's pissed over it? Frankly I think these two creatures deserve each other

Several tabloids have been harping on this story for some time now. I think it definitely bodes something, whether or not an actual divorce. Because these tabloids are prominently displayed by the checkout counters a ton of people absorb these headlines, even those who don't read the magazines. If nothing else, it signals it's ok to hate Bush---even Laura does. And it signals that it's ok to rag on the Bush family (remember the tabloid photog editor who featured pictures of drunk Jenna groping another intoxicated girl after they'd tumbled to the ground?---he was the first one killed by anthrax after 9/11). And I'm so glad someone mentioned Gannon.

Should Laura be worried about Condi or about the many nighttime visits by GW's homosexual prostitute Gannon/Guckert?

Why do you mock "tabloids" and PAY FOR MONTHLY CABLE OR SATELLITE BILLS TO WATCH TABLOID TV and allow the entertainment shows that "call" themselves "news" to propagandize you?

I have TWO earlier stories with photographs about this subject from both The Globe of August 14, 2006 and The Examiner October 23, 2006. This is not a new rumor. In the earlier stories it seems the First Lady is not happy with the President getting drunk and having an affair with Condi. Neither is she happy with the Secret Service for trying to hide it from her.

I am actually surprised THIS ONE HAS NOT BEEN SCRUBBED FROM THE WEB. The Bushes send their minions out to buy up and destroy every copy they can get and then they get their spies to hunt down and erase them from the web too!!!

The Bushes are going to divorce. They're only hiding it from the media to keep Barbara the Bully and Pappa the Crybaby from hatcheting them both!

There is a LOT of money at stake. Make the senior Bushes mad and you might not get that pile of dough. Just ask the EX WIFE of Neil Bush. He left her high and dry without even supporting their children!!!! The family closed ranks on the witch for not allowing Neil to philander in peace.

I for one am on the First Lady's side. Bully for her for dumping the JERK and I hope she cleans his clock. My advise to her would be DON'T WAIT. COME OUT WITH IT SO HE CAN'T CLEAN YOUR CLOCK IN THE CLOSET LIKE NEIL DID TO HIS WIFE.

As deadly serious as needing to get rid of GW is, we cannot lose our humor, entirely. That little part of us that helps to keep us sane amidst the total calamity of the Bush adminstration. I am certainly no fan of the Globe (never read it) but when I saw this, I rolled on the floor and hoped it could be true. Just a teeny spot of levity.

Comments that BuzzFlash should not put this in the mix are unwarranted because there are other humorous posts within their site, particularly toward the end but also throughout. I appreciate that variety, otherwise I'd just be a miserable old crotch to everyone with whom I spoke. I couldn't get much traction that way.

Howdy, friendly Buzzers... am I seeing this correctly? Is this a scan of THE GLOBE?!? I know the headline said "tabloid" and I wanted to see if that was true. With all of the work which needs to be done in our dear country, do we really need this kind of trash clogging up the tubes?

I love you, Buzzflash. I think the policies of the GWB admin are a terror which needs to be stopped... but I hope this Globe-thing is more of a joke to post this and not a sign of things to come. Many folks, like myself, come to this site to GET AWAY from this kind of gossip, not find it.

I could care less about Laura, Barney, Jenna and Not Jenna. Junior could move back in with Babs and Poppy.

Perhaps staying on message and not building houses on the sand would be more productive (funny though). I guess it doesn't really matter, as this whole genre of web site is only preaching to the choir.

On the other hand, were Laura to DIVORCE W for non-consensual sexual relations with A MAJORITY OF WE THE PEOPLE OF THE US; she'd be about the only sane Washington resident and eminently more qualified than Billary (who wouldn't conscientiously leave Willy after his ADULTERY) to be our first female prexy!
