Leading up to Tuesday's primary, what would you ask Hoosiers if you had the chance?

There is something to be said for getting out among the masses to see for ourselves the fun and madness of this Democratic Party presidential battle royale. We offered to go to the caucuses in Hawai'i in February, got turned down. Perhaps the Guam caucus on Saturday, we thought.

When going through the BuzzFlash travel budget, we realized that it was about as empty as Pooh's pot of honey.

But I am going to go to Indiana to see what I can see this weekend. If Obama or Clinton is speaking north of Indianapolis, I will try to be there. Otherwise, there are no set plans other than to see what I can see and talk to real Hoosiers. When I have been asked what I will do, I say, "Wander Indiana" (an actual former Indiana tourism marketing slogan).

But is there some element you would like to see covered that has been missing in the campaign? What would you ask Hoosiers if you had the chance? Let us know what you think.

How About Asking What Sort Of World If It Were Up To You?

"What's that got to do with the election?" "Everything." "Why everything?" "We either end the Iraq War or it'll be the end of us." "But how?" "We elect a president who'll end the Iraq War, negotiate with Iran plus turning things around here at home." "And then what sort of world?" "It'll be up to us."

Clinton vs Paul lawsuit

I would ask if Indianans know about the Paul vs. Clinton election fraud lawsuit? Obama's acquaintance with Tony Rezko was splashed all over the media but no one mentions this lawsuit. The judge in the case has ruled that Hillary does not have to testify until after the election.

No one mentions it because it's BS ...

And it's not an "election fraud" lawsuit. It's a "looting" lawsuit against Bill Clinton filed by Peter Paul - a four-time felon and conspiracy nut. Google him ... you'll see.

"Paul's claims have not found traction. An audit by the Federal Elections Commission found that neither Senator Clinton nor her Senate campaign had accepted any illegal funds in connection with the Hollywood fundraiser[40], though the campaign was asked to pay $35,000 in fines for having underreported the cost of the party.[41] Paul's suit against the FEC was thrown out; his attempt to bring ethics charges against Clinton were rejected,[42] and his fraud charges against Senator Clinton were tossed out in April 2006.[43] Paul continued to press civil charges against Senator Clinton and former President Clinton for "looting"[44] his business, but the courts refused to allow him to sue Senator Clinton, with the appellate court specifying that her behavior had been "perfectly legal," and allowing her to recoup her legal fees from Paul.[40]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_F._Paul

Maybe you should ask the Indianans why the fauxgressives insist on pushing all kinds of bogus charges. Oh ....... forgot. It's okay when it's the Clintons.

So much for a "new kind of politics."

I would ask

Would they like cluster bombs to be dropped on their families? Would they like to drop more of their money on the doorsteps of the uber rich? Do they want their tax dollars to continue to fund the Iraq war?

Question for Hoosiers and Others

Regarding Experience: Some candidates and voters cite experience as an issue. I would ask, "Just what kind of experience do you want? Do you want more of the same political actions and language that has gotten this country in the shape it is in or do you want the experience of getting us out of the political rut we now find ourselves with the two "experienced" senators?" Give it consideration before you cast your valued vote.

Learned your lesson?

My family is in Indiana. I am in Illinois. What I would like to know is if they have learned their lesson voting for the perceived religiosity of a candidate. Bush said he was "born again" and religious voters, families and churches rushed to include "one of their own" in the highest office. As you know, that was a hellish mistake. Will they continue to vote for values or this time, issues and needs? Another vote based on values would be the absolute height of stupidity.
