BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

“Subject: Who Is Responsible For The Recession We Find Ourselves In?” The Repuglicans have built a house of cards that is collapsing in on itself, and we the American people will bear the brunt of this Repuglican catastrophic failure! From a failed economy, to a failed foreign policy, the Repuglicans have created angst and chaos, anguish and grief here at home and ever expanding to include the rest of the world. America needs change, we need a fresh approach, we need Democratic leadership, if we are indeed to recover from this the worst Repuglican leadership ever!

All the recent ‘flak’ and hoopdedoo over Obama “listening to the Generals on the ground” has become quite amusing -- especially since Bush never listened to the Generals on the ground -- he fired them! Bush only ‘listened’ when he found a General who said ‘yessir, anything you say sir,’ then and only then did Bush ‘listen up’!!!

A lesson in how not to win friends and influence voters: "John McCain: ‘I hate the bloggers.’" Obviously John McCain isn’t keeping up with modern technology, he isn’t aware of what’s really happening in modern times, in today’s world! John McCain, a man of the past, just the same old Regressive Repuglican he’s always been! And to the “conservative bloggers,” how does it feel knowing John McCain “hates you”?

Using former Bush operatives as major campaign managers is not my idea of distancing oneself from George W. Bush! Try as they might, “reintroducing, revamping, reorganizing, refocusing, and new strategies” will not change the facts; John McCain is a Bush clone, John McCain is boring, tedious, and dull, his ideas and policies, his “plans” are the same old, same old tiresome, failed Repuglican guiding principles that got us in this abysmal hole in the first place. McCain is not a “maverick,” he’s not a “straight talker”; McCain is just 4 more years of George Bush! Vote Democratic, vote for hope, vote for change, vote OBAMA in November!!!

“McCain trying to relaunch his campaign with a new staff and a new approach on the trail.” Nothing new when you are recycling the same old operatives Bush used; nothing new when Repuglicans use the same old smear and slur tactics! Yep, nothing new here, just the same old same old Americans have grown tired of!!!

Hmm, in mulling over the multitude of commercial advertisements regarding the “Erectile Dysfunction” saturation of America’s airwaves, would it be safe to assume that it may have brought up and out the bully in some men, you know, the “Shock and awe,” the “Bring it on,” “Wanted dead or alive” attitudes so prevalent in today’s society!!!! Apparently it has aided and abetted a whole lot of Repuglican bravado and Repuglican bluster!

“Crist is engaged to New York socialite Carole Rome.” It goes to show what some Repuglican guys will do to become Vice President!!!

This says it all about the “Bush legacy”: “‘I don't think there are a lot of people who want to see him at the convention,’ said Mr. Rohrabacher … He said the president ‘should stay home from the Republican convention, and everybody would be better off.’”

Hmm, it seems that many of those “sanctimonious” old-timers who are supporting John McCain have memory problems, too! “Many of those sultans of sanctimony, who are now surrogates and staff for the McCain campaign, have strangely become as quiet as little church mice when it comes to discussing the fact that John McCain has always had a reputation for being as horny as a three-balled tomcat … the Moralizing Crusaders in the Republican party have suddenly laid down their swords … It is downright hilarious to hear Senator Lindsey Graham wax rhapsodic about the personal integrity of the senator from Arizona. His pronouncements of McCain's principled, virtuous wisdom are as convoluted as a stand-up routine on The Comedy Channel … he stands reverentially beside his buddy McCain, as if fooling around and family abandonment have simply ceased to be biggies. After the infamous Senate floor blistering of the President for his sexual affairs, one might conclude that Senator Joe Lieberman, a Republican by any other name, would be much too ashamed ever to support a candidate whose moral compass had directed him to cheat on his wife and leave his family. Yet, Lieberman, seemingly ever-present on the campaign trail, advises McCain and lavishes him with such obsequious praise that the affair between John and Cindy seems considered to be nothing more than a dusty memory that is gone with the wind.”
