“Frustrated by their inability to successfully call Barack Obama's character into question, his opponents have seized on the next best option -- attacking his wife.” The Regressive Repuglican attacks on Michelle Obama are also a reflection of the fact that Michelle Obama has acquired in her lifetime stellar qualities and capabilities that these guys will never attain! Michelle Obama’s life story and her accomplishments are extraordinary! She is the essence of an American woman!!!

Accepting small donations from millions of people to finance your campaign is exactly what “public” financing is all about and it’s an all volunteer deal! No taxpayer money coming out of a special federal fund, no fund-raising schemes to go around your elbow to get to your rear end. “Under a new fundraising structure created by the [John McCain] campaign and the Republican National Committee, a donor can give up to $70,000 to the “McCain Victory 2008,” significantly more than the $2,300 individual donor limit set by campaign finance laws. If a donor gives the maximum amount the money is split into multiple funds that all benefit McCain’s campaign: the first $2,300 of that money goes to the McCain campaign itself, the next $28,000 goes to the RNC, and the rest is divided among four swing states the campaign plans to target in the general election. Those targeted states are: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado and New Mexico.” No “new fund-raising structures” -- just millions of people giving what little they can afford to the candidate of their choice! Now that’s what I call “PUBLIC FINANCING,” and my check is in the mail!!!!

All the flak about Obama and public funding is just that, “flak,” a Regressive Repuglican and mainstream corporate media smoke and mirrors psychological sturm und drang, to cover up the fact that John McCain tried to opt out of “public funding” and found he could not!!! “McCain has violated campaign finance laws on multiple occasions during his presidential run. First, he took out a private loan to fund his failing campaign using the promise of public matching funds as collateral for the loan. Then, he unilaterally tried to withdraw from the public funding system, a move the chair of the FEC told McCain was against the rules.” Ahh, mainstream corporate media and those Regressive Repuglicans and how they use Rovian campaign rules 101. Attack, attack, attack your opponent, the Democrat, for succeeding where you failed!!!

“Another Attack on U.S. Would Be ‘Big Advantage’ For McCain.” Hmm, kinda sorta sounds like ‘A New Pearl Harbor Event’; just goes to show the mind set of Regressive Repuglicans and the kind of strategies they believe in to win an election or start a quest for world domination!

Hmm, it might behoove the American people to “wiretap” mainstream corporate media and see exactly what messages are being sent to the terrorists over our own airways! “Clarke: Charlie Black Basically Said To Terrorists, ‘Yes You Can Manipulate Our Politics, Come And Do It’” Yes, indeed, in plain sight, an invitation signed, sealed, and delivered!!!

Proof positive, Regressive Repuglicans will lie, cheat, and/or steal to accomplish their goals. No matter their position, no matter their standing, no matter the effect on the American people, as long as it affects their own appalling wants, needs, and desires! It comes as no surprise that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia would use “false” information to bolster his opinion! “Scalia Cites False Information in Habeas Corpus Dissent” He’ll do whatever it takes to further the Regressive Repuglican cause!

Memo to Pelosi: This is about as logical as pigs flying in August: “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claims that a key positive feature of the new wiretap ‘compromise’ is that the bill reaffirms that the President must follow the law.” What makes you even think a shiftless son of a former president, the current president, a guy who has ignored the law all his life, and the same guy who broke “the law” in the first place, is going to follow the law now??? To borrow a phrase from that very wise American, Forrest Gump, “stupid is as stupid does”!!!
