Repuglicans have been known to lie before, in order to buff up a presidential candidate’s record! “McCain's Secret, Questionable Record:‘At a meeting in his Pentagon office in early 1981, Secretary of the Navy John F. Lehman told Capt. John S. McCain III that he was about to attain his life ambition: becoming an admiral.... Mr. McCain declined the prospect of his first admiral's star to make a run for Congress, saying that he could 'do more good there,' Mr. Lehman recalled. So claimed the New York Times in a front-page article on May 29 this year…This story is highly improbable for several reasons…” They’ve been known to embellish and/or destroy a candidate's past record of performance! John McCain certainly needs something more than reality to make him more appealing come November!!!

“A gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in San Diego retails for an average price of $4.61 a gallon. A few miles south, in Tijuana, it's about $2.54 — even less if you pay in pesos.” Now, if you go a little further south, say down Venezuela way, you’ll find gasoline for $.12 a gallon, that’s spelled twelve CENTS a gallon! “Venezuela: Land of 12-Cent Gas.” We know why gasoline is $4.61 a gallon and climbing here in the U.S.; BIG OIL, to include George Bush and Dick Cheney, wants to open up drilling for oil everywhere! “McCain wants to lift ban on offshore drilling -- Bush plans to ask Congress to lift offshore drilling ban -- Florida Gov. Charlie Crist … said this week he supports McCain's plan to lift the moratorium and would not rule out letting his state choose to drill offshore.” This is just another form of Repuglican scare tactics designed with malice and forethought to ultimately achieve a particular goal! These guys believe making billions of dollars off the American people on gasoline is the icing on the cake, an extra added bonus in their bank accounts!!! This is the very reason why Repuglicans want to be the CEOs of America!!!

“That List Of "Democrats And Indys" Backing McCain? It's A Bit Of A Sham.” John McCain “straight talker” or snake oil salesman? Obviously some “investigative” reporting points to “snake oil salesman”!!! Oh those Repuglicans, they’ll do anything, whatever it takes to try and win an election, they’ll even claim to be a Democrat when and if it helps them achieve their goals!!!

Seniors BEWARE, again I caution every senior who depends on Social Security: “One of the most entertaining things about the 2008 campaign has been watching John McCain embrace all of President Bush's policies and word game flimflams. And there's no better example than Social Security where McCain has not only adopted President Bush's proposal to phase out Social Security and replace it with private investment accounts he's even adopted Bush's word game bamboozlement to try to trick voters into thinking he doesn't support the policy he actually does support.” Key words here being, PHASE OUT SOCIAL SECURITY!

News or tabloid sensationalism??? “Fri, Feb 29, 2008 9:30pm Meet the Press' Tim Russert … Russert didn't ask a single question about global warming, continuing his longstanding habit of all but ignoring the topic. He didn't ask a single question about the mortgage crisis … He didn't ask a single question about executive power, the Constitution, torture, wiretapping, or other civil-liberties concerns … that shouldn't come as a surprise ... He has, however, asked Dennis Kucinich what he felt compelled to insist was a "serious question" -- whether Kucinich has seen a UFO … he has asked about John Edwards' expensive haircut … Russert asked Barack Obama about Louis Farrakhan's praise for the Illinois senator. Obama, who had previously denounced Farrakhan, did so again. Then Russert asked about Farrakhan again. So Obama reiterated his denunciation. Then Russert … asked about Farrakhan again. So Obama again reiterated his denunciation. Russert, plowing ahead, asked yet another question about Farrakhan, prompting Obama to answer yet again.” I rest my case, and may the pundits, the bobble heads, and MSCM allow the oratory, the spin, and the fantasy regarding Tim Russert to RIP!

Another report verifying the fact that detainees were tortured! “Former terrorist suspects detained by the United States were tortured, according to medical examinations detailed in a report … 'We found clear physical and psychological evidence of torture and abuse …’' The report is prefaced by retired U.S. Major Gen. Antonio Taguba, who led the Army's investigation into the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal in 2003. 'There is no longer any doubt that the current administration committed war crimes,' Taguba states. 'The only question is whether those who ordered torture will be held to account.'" Forgiveness is impossible, because this administration actually did know what they were doing! IMPEACHMENT and prosecution is the only answer!!!

Rumsfeld to research and reverse-engineer techniques used by military survival schools … The techniques -- sensory deprivation, forced nudity, stress positions and exploitation of phobias, such as fear of dogs -- would eventually be approved for use at Guantanamo Bay and would spread to U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan and Iraq, including the Abu Ghraib prison … newly released documents show that in the summer of 2002, Pentagon officials compiled lists of aggressive techniques, soliciting opinions from the CIA and others, and ultimately implementing the practices over opposition from military lawyers who argued that the proposed tactics were probably illegal and could harm U.S. troops.” “Could harm U.S. troops,” and yet some still think this administration cares about our sons and daughters, the soldiers they sent off to war!
