BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

McCain has done more “flip-flopping” than a dying fish in its “last throes”!  “When it comes to getting U.S. troops out of Iraq, Sen. John McCain was for the idea before he was against it.  Three years before the Arizona Republican argued on the campaign trail that U.S. forces could be in Iraq for 100 years in the absence of violence, he decried the very concept of a long-term troop presence.”  Is it possible he’s forgotten what he was for before he was against?  Is he having “memory” problems?  Or is he just being a typical Repuglican and speaking out of both sides of his mouth?

John McCain lost all appearance of dignity and integrity he had, the day he embraced George Bush! That’s when his true lack of character came to the fore.  “Maverick”???  HA!  “Straight talker”??? Double Ha!  He’s a Repuglican, he’s a Washington politician, and you can be sure he speaks from both sides of his mouth whenever he can remember what he’s been told to say!

America cannot afford another week, another day, in Iraq, much less a 100-year occupation!  Wake up people, Washington Repuglican politicians are spending our soldiers' lives, our taxpayer monies, our reputations on an illegal, unnecessary, preemptive war in Iraq!  The Washington Repuglican politicians are sitting safe and secure in their oval offices, their congressional offices, and their “air-conditioned” buses, while our sons and daughters are dying and our coffers are drying up!  Whether it’s a 100 year war, or a 100-year occupation; staying in Iraq is unacceptable!

Hmm, seems the pastor John McCain sought out for an endorsement has some “controversial” ideas!  Why have we not heard 24/7 cable news covering Hagee’s “anti”-comments!  Where are those “repulsive” 30 second sound bites, especially when the entire context is certainly disturbing and can be delivered in even less than 30 seconds: “It was the disobedience and rebellion of the Jews, God’s chosen people, to their covenantal responsibility to serve only the one true God, Jehovah, that gave rise to the opposition and persecution that they experienced beginning in Canaan and continuing to this very day.”

If you can’t see through the canard mainstream corporate media is selling, then America will be the loser!  The media has obviously come to the conclusion that John McCain can better beat Hillary Clinton in the November election and that’s why they’ve come out so negative about Barack Obama!  They have come to the realization that Barack Obama’s overwhelming force of supporters cannot be overcome by the Repuglican candidate!  Don’t be hooked again; don’t fall for the same bill of goods the media sold this country in 2000.  We know the devastation this country has suffered because of that little piece of psychological deception; you remember that one, all the bull the media spread about that “regular guy”, that twit sitting in Washington today!

Ostentatious???  George Bush’s my “Embassy” is bigger and better than any of Saddam’s palaces and an in your face, if you don’t like it, get over it, is a lesson in how NOT to win friends and influence people!!!  Moving right along but definitely not out (6/28/04): “The U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority ended its formal occupation of Iraq on Monday when it handed over control of the country to members of Iraq's interim government.”  And just what does it say about safety and security when, “The official transfer…was held two days earlier in a secret ceremony in Baghdad in order to deter possible plans by militants to sabotage the handover…”!

Having gotten away with appointing the president once, the overly stacked conservative-biased Supreme Court of the United States is doing it again!  There has been no substantial evidence ever of “voter fraud” cases!  If indeed they were about the business of free and fair elections, about justice, they’d be passing judgment on the legality of privately owned Repuglican companies that have total control of the “black-box” voting machine operations!  Certainly there is more evidence of fraudulent votes and tampering in this newest world of machine voting!
