“... the AP reports that the head of the Federal Elections Commission is questioning whether McCain will be allowed to drop out of the public financing system.”  .As my grandmother would say, “If you don’t want to bury yourself, then don’t dig the hole and start shoveling the dirt”! Sometimes it really doesn’t pay to be clever enough to shoot yourself in the behind!  “If you commit the crime, then you should do the time,” and John McCain has done himself in this time!!!  Just goes to prove he certainly is ignorant when it comes to economics!

This is an outrage, and in DALLAS for God's sake! "DALLAS -- Security details at Barack Obama's rally Wednesday stopped screening people for weapons at the front gates more than an hour before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage at Reunion Arena. The order to put down the metal detectors and stop checking purses and laptop bags came as a surprise to several Dallas police officers who said they believed it was a lapse in security. ... the order -- apparently made by the U.S. Secret Service ... about 11 a.m., an order came down to allow the people in without being checked. Several Dallas police officers said it worried them that the arena was packed with people who got in without even a cursory inspection. They spoke on condition of anonymity because, they said, the order was made by federal officials who were in charge of security at the event." Who exactly issued such a cockamamie, doesn't make sense, order? Who is responsible for such a flagrant disregard for Obama's safety? It is utterly and completely unacceptable!

If it's down and dirty, it's GOP! "Timing, Sourcing Suggest GOP, Not Dems, Behind McCain ‘Smear Campaign.'" Ironic that those who claim to be conservative, and Christian are the ones who practice "scorched earth," leave no survivors, whatever it takes, mean and nasty politics! And could this be why Romney "suspended" rather than ended his campaign!

If viruses and worms can find their way into your computer, then it’s certain that “the fix” can find a way into black-box voting machines!!  Unless and until there is a way to guarantee all votes are counted for the candidate cast, then elections are suspect in these United States of America!!!  It damn sure doesn’t help the “trust” factor knowing that Repuglicans who promise to do all they can to make sure a Repuglican is “elected” manufacture and control those same black-boxes!!!

Strange how time and the release of heretofore “classified” documents turn “conspiracy theories” into reality!  How does anyone trust those who would use clandestine covert methods to accomplish that which is morally and legally unacceptable? Those who believe “the end justifies the means” are capable of whatever it takes, including sacrificing the few to save the many!  Making martyrs out of innocents is a foundation of terrorism!  Ignoring the law produces despots and advances tyranny!

Charisma is believed to be divinely bestowed and is precisely the reason why Democrats have it and Repuglicans don’t!!!!

Wouldn’t you know it, the judge of what’s moral and what’s not is out and about in support of John McCain and all the political garbage that McCain has accumulated!  Just have to wonder what Lieberman hopes to gain from absolving McCain. What exactly is Lieberman lobbying for, and what does he expect to acquire? His calculated endorsements prove that Lieberman is biased when it comes to who to condemn and who to forgive, especially when it’s politically and personally beneficial!

McCain really is nothing more than a cold, scheming, calculating Repuglican! The basis for all Repuglican activity is to loudly and publicly condemn that which you are actually doing privately! It is a scam that has been very successful when duping the electorate and it is the Repuglican unspoken 12th commandment! One could say it's "voodoo" psychology! "McCain has positioned himself as a die-hard opponent of special-interest influence. But a U.S. News analysis of his 25-year legislative career shows he has been an avid seeker of special-interest money to support his campaigns and initiatives. The pattern goes all the way back to his first House race in 1982. Moreover, as the boss or No. 2 member of the Senate Commerce Committee, he has drawn heavy support from pacs and individuals associated with industries overseen by that committee -- especially telecommunications, media, and technology firms."
