Not below the belt, just unpleasant truth we look away from

A comparable issue is not looking at the dead Iraqis and US troops that result from the Iraq War. Whether people oppose or support it, they need to know that where they side on the issue has real consequences for real people, up to and including taking their lives. The veiled racism of the GOP for the past couple of decades probably looked relatively harmless to a lot white people, but this shows where it leads. Mike Dixon

I hope you don't mind Mike

my sharing your posters over at the John Edwards blog. http://blog.oneamericacommittee.com/story/2006/9/1/114632/8987 Well for me your posters pissed me off enough to get me off my butt. Yesterday I went and delivered yard signs for Claire McCaskill http://www.claireonline.com she's running against Jim NO Talent here in Missouri. I also printed off a few to pass out on Monday while I'm marching in the Labor Day parade in Springfield,MO John Edwards is gonna be there too. Thank You for motivating me again cuz since the DNC likes Roy Blunt (R) http://www.houseofscandal.com by not giving support to the Democratic elected Jack Truman http://trumanforcongress.tripod.com/ Eric Blumrich is help Jack make a better web site http://ericblumrich.com (BUSHFLASH) I was feeling pretty low. But I'm ALIVE and I can make a difference. Awww I guess links don't work here "All that serves labor serves the nation. All that harms labor is treason to America. -- Abraham Lincoln

If you hand one to Edwards, take his pic with it and send to me

Katrina inspired posters

Every day I wonder; will this be the day America wakes up? Will this be the day we become, as Abraham Lincoln said, "disenthralled", with the evil that has numbed us into compliance? Why can't enough of us see what we have become to do something about it?

"Politics is a two handed

"Politics is a two handed game where mudballs are trump." Will Rogers If we do not play by the same dangerous rules that the fascists do, we the people will lose. lufinn

Those are good...

the first one is the best, though - it truly highlights the hypocrisy of the "Right to Life" crowd.

Katrina Photos

These photos and captions are serious below the belt shots. But that's OK. This fight for America is a dirty fight and the stakes are very high.

Below the belt?

Below the belt? I think not. After all, two of the posters simply iterate what piece of shit republicans actually said. Read them, and then try to imagine the thought process of these "people". Below the belt would be something like this, you'd show a picture of Dumbass Bush laying in the water face down and bloated, and the caption might be, "Bush canceled his guitar playing gig in San Diego with country singer Mark Wills to be here with the people in New Orleans during Katrina, what a leader he was." Now that might be below the belt.
