To me the saddest thing about the state we are in today is that Jesus warned us about all of this.

He said to beware of those who make a show of their faith.

He said to beware of false prophets.

He said that we would know people by their acts.

He said it would be easier to strain a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven.

He said that we are all equally children of God.

He said that we should treat the least among us as we would Him.

So, here we are, we have elevated liars and hypocrites because they claim to follow Jesus while ignoring everything He said to do.

Ever notice how those who love to invoke their so-called Christian "faith" will not abide by any of the teachings of Jesus? He warned us that even the devil could quote scripture - and we have ignored his teachings by not rising up and throwing these moneylenders out of our political temples.

Its the only way out of an incarceration known to far too many hapless females. While this condition is a perpetual worldwide phenomena, she isn't the first GOP wife to reveal the darkest side of life with a bigot. That these offensive rightwing hypocrits can get away with their manipulations for extended periods is an indicator how severely the problem has manifested within the family values lifestyle. Domestic abuse has freely metastisized not just within the immediate US culture, but has spread to govern this entire nation and this nation's future. Even if Americans "think" they are not affected by these "seemingly" isolated experiences of the abused, think again. Covert psychological twists, known in therapeutical vernacular as "gaslighting", the spreading and maintaining an aura of doom and gloom, non-physical violence, has been decreed into law throughout the land, by a self-serving government requiring total support from its citzenry while simultaneously insisting its citizenry obey, forgive AND ignore the abuse.
Its not just pages. Not just interns. Not only wives. Nor Dems. Nor the poor, the elderly, or the racially opressed.
Its the US Constitution, the UN, innocent people globally, accidentally standing in the way of the agenda, the very heartbeat and life of all living species who are the victims of an abusive, seemingly unstoppable force, a force infested with self-accepted subterfuge. Considering the latest deathtolls and the ravaging of stolen nations and gaslighting of their neighbors, one can easily see how abusive threats and intimidation quickly transition into physical action.
Apparently, party thinking goes: If executive power can get away with it, well, hey, so can I.

These wackos claim to have the hand on Christian Values. I doubt if have any values at all. If they did the more than likely stole them from Walmart. My father was a Bapist misister. I was in Church every time the doors were open. I NEVER heard such haterd being taught and preached. The puplt was for the word of God not a polititcal tool.

What better way to conceal one's own perversions than to publicly denounce it while invoking the name of the diety.

I'm sure Schelske, like Mark Foley and former Illinois GOP Senatoral candidate Jack Ryan, felt invulnerable by surrounding himself with an air of "Christian" piety.

Of course bogus religious creeps, like messrs Schelske, Foley et al, always have a ready excuse for their downfall: The Devil, usually in the guise of a bottle of booze, made me do it.

How utterly responsible of them.

Really, I'm beginning to think that the best way to deal with these people is the Christian way. We should pity them. They are pathetic, and confused, and they wander, lost in the moral wilderness because it's all or nothing, and nobody can be morally perfect.

So what the hell. They just morphed it into a competition to see who could manufacture the best facade. How do you know your facade is working? By testing how much mayhem you can get away with while you're hiding behind it.

And now the facades are crumbling. So we should pity them. And ridicule them mercilessly, for their own good.
