A Chickenhawk Vice-President Tortures Away America's National Security

It is unworthy of a great nation.
We have a Vice-President who continues to spearhead a behind the scenes lobbying campaign to continue torturing anyone the Bush Administration wants to. Meanwhile, Cheney's staff, including his pro-torture replacement for the pro-torture Libby, denies torture is being carried out by the Bush Administration.
Let's overlook the continued, chronic, brazen and unrelenting Cheney/Bush lying for the moment. Let's overlook for a moment that Chickenhawk Cheney (who requested multiple deferments to avoid serving in the Vietnam War) is squaring off against John McCain, a heralded Vietnam War Vet and prisoner who endured torture, in the Veep's campaign to continue barbaric, uncivilized, anti-Geneva convention practices. (McCain is trying to outlaw the Bush Administration from continuing the torture that they claim is not occurring.) Let's overlook for the moment that Colin Powell's former chief of staff says that the authorization for torture has come from Cheney's office.
What we are now learning, as today's stories on BuzzFlash reveal, is that Cheney may be using torture to force captives to say what the Bush Administration wants them to say -- in order to better sell the Neo-Con agenda to the American public. In short, it's not torture to get at the truth; it's torture aimed at soliciting lies that are then used for propaganda purposes.
This is not just an unconscionable disgrace. It's an impeachable offense, because it betrays the national security of the United States of America.
But we guess the Republican Congress won't act until they find proof that Mary Matalin conducted fellatio on Cheney in the Vice-President's pantry office. Then they'll impeach him alright. Boy, do the Republicans have their priorities right or what?
The GOP is daily making America more insecure. They betray every American citizen by supporting this bumbling, rogue regime who makes us a weaker country with every passing hour.
