Timber! Bush Caught Lying About Lumber Business in the Second Debate. Take Him to the Woodshed!

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS

Buzz:

I was surfing on the Internet when I heard President Bush assert strongly that he owned no timber business and made the stupid joke about someone needing wood in response to the assertion of John Kerry that Bush did indeed own such a business. I went to factcheck.org at this site http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx@DocID=265 and found the following which says:

"President Bush himself would have qualified as a 'small business owner' under the Republican definition, based on his 2001 federal income tax returns. He reported $84 of business income from his part ownership of a timber-growing enterprise. However, 99.99% of Bush's total income came from other sources that year. (Bush also qualified as a "small business owner" in 2000 based on $314 of "business income,'but not in 2002 and 2003 when he reported his timber income as 'royalties' on a different tax schedule.)"

What this tells me is that the President hasn't the smallest idea of what he has, what he promises, what he can deliver. In essence, his campaign is built on lies made up by his handlers and he is just the facade for such lies.

He also bullied the moderator of the debate, Charlie Gibson, in a way unbecoming for a statesman such as the President of the United States.

He really thinks he can impose his will at any time and anyone is honor bound to serve him.

No wonder we ran into such trouble in Iraq with such a person at the helm of government. This finally convinced me to change my vote, which initially was for Bus on account of 9/11, to Kerry, which seems so much presidential, so much more honest and accountable in comparison with the childish president.
