| "11 Dead after Bush Crashes in Afghanistan" A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS The headline typo becomes apparent two words into the first paragraph of the article. However, the headline caught our attention as description of all of Bush's anti-"Terra" efforts -- a reckless driver, unfamiliar with the road and lacking good judgment, kills innocent people. Bush went into Afghanistan with support from large chunks of America and the world because of the connection to the 9/11 attacks. But he blew it in Afghanistan by not sending troops for two months, not sending enough troops, and then diverting the U.S.'s military efforts towards a disastrous and failing invasion and occupation of a country that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks nor threatened us in any meaningful or substantial way. We can only hope the next crash will be his campaign. From the Seattle Post Intelligencer. A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS |
