Did Osama bin Laden Get a "Nip and Tuck" On the Run? Inquiring Minds Want to Know. A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS The problem is that when you have an administration that prides itself on its "skill" at serial lying and deception, you don't know when it is telling the truth. Now, we don't know if the latest alleged Osama tape is real or manufactured by our intelligence services to scare the American public into supporting the Soviet Style "(Anti-) Patriot Two Act." Remember that John "KGB" Ashcroft's plan to further turn the United States into a Stalin-style state was first leaked earlier this year. Now, on September 11th, a tape of a curiously youthful looking Osama bin Laden appears out of nowhere. Did the guy undergo a little celebrity style "nip and tuck" while on the run from "I'm going to get him Dead or Alive" Bush?
Has BuzzFlash gone over the conspiracy theory edge? Not really. We just can't trust our government. After all, look at page 3 from the Chicago Sun-Times on September 11th:
Remember that the Sun-Times is part of the Conrad Black Hollinger media empire, which is adamantly pro-Bush and pro-Iraq war. Richard Perle, for instance has close financial and "journalistic" ties to the Hollinger media empire, including more than 400 daily and weekly newspapers in Canada, the United States, Britain, Israel and Australia. Bin laden's "appearances" have been curiously coincident with a drop in Bush's poll numbers, times when he is on the ropes, and at times when the Bush Cartel makes proposals that need to be supported by "goosing" the fear of the American public. Here is an excerpt from an article in the September 11th New York Times:
Would the Bush Cartel go so far as to create a doctored tape of bin Laden to scare the American public, and to keep the war on terrorism focused on demonizing two individuals (yes, they ARE bad, bad men), rather than fighting an effective, strategic war on terrorism? Would they scare us in order to help pass a draconian piece of legislation that would further chip away at our Bill of Rights and Constitution? What do you think? The answer is we don't know -- and that's a horrible dilemma when you can't trust your government. The Bush Cartel's "war on terrorism" is really just another opportunity that they have seized to achieve their personal economic, political and worldview goals. As just one example of their lack of commitment to REALLY fighting terrorism, they have continually diverted attention from serious signs of ongoing Saudi involvement in terrorism and even facilitated the flight of bin Laden family members from the U.S. just after September 11th, when our airspace was closed [LINK]. Heck a young guy just flew himself inside a crate as a stowaway to visit his family in Texas! And ABC News just smuggled uranium in the United States without a problem [LINK]. It is testament to the power of repeated Bush Cartel spin that most Americans, according to a recent poll, believe that Saddam Hussein played a major role in 9/11. The Bush Cartel has succeeded magnificently in covering up for the Saudi financing, leadership roles, and alleged Saudi family and government connection to al-Qaeda. So, yes, we view this latest bin Laden tape with skepticism. As we said from the day after September 11th, all Americans oppose terrorism. After all, who wants to be killed by lunatics who think they are on a mission from God? The Bush administration successfully turned the framing of the anti-terrorism debate into this defining concept: "If you oppose OUR conduct of the 'war on terrorism,' you are aiding the terrorists." Most Democrats accepted this self-serving, elitist, bullying proposition as a threat and cowered in their corners. The truly demented Rumsfeld repeated this shopworn bit of intimidation the other day. (Howard Dean broke through the wall of silence when he took this proposition head on and rode it to the top of the polls in Iowa and New Hampshire. NOW other Democrats have been emboldened.) But the Bush framework for the anti-terrorism war is all wrong. It's something out of Stalin's playbook. It's a war of APPEARANCES that masks the REAL Bush administration goals. After all, the issue is not whether to conduct a war on terrorism, which most people support, but HOW to conduct a war on terrorism. To that end, the Bush administration has failed miserably because its war on terrorism was never about fighting terrorism, just a despicable self-serving political initiative. And that is why, as Dick Gephardt so succinctly stated, Bush is a "miserable failure." The Democrats should have long ago claimed a stake in HOW we fight terrorism, because, as we noted just two days after September 11th, all our lives are at stake. If the Democrats don't bother to do what's right, no one will. Do you want George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle responsible for "protecting you and your family"? Are we safer today than we were two years ago? Is your life safer, our lives safer? Only a calculating fool would say "yes" -- and he's sitting in the White House eating pretzels. A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS |
