Grand Hypocrisy Party Proves Its Hypocrisy Once Again

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS

The message below was sent out by the Republican National Committee to "GOP Team Leaders" on May 15. Just remember that the goal of the third round of Bush tax cuts is three-fold:

  • Make rich supporters of the GOP even wealthier. In turn, they will contribute more to the GOP and the Bush 2004 election fund.
  • Run up the deficit to new records.
  • Force cuts in government services to pay for the tax cuts for the rich. Shrink the size of government until it is nothing more than a contracting agency for supporters of the Bush Cartel.

The following is an actual e-mail alert from the Republican National Committee:

* * *

Dear ****,

Hypocritical Democrats are trying to stop President Bush's agenda at all costs. In their latest desperate move to derail the President's plan to foster economic growth and create over a million new jobs, Democrats have decided to join together with liberal special interest groups whose only agenda is oppose everything President Bush is for.

What's their economic plan? Nothing more than more wasteful spending. While pretending to be for fiscal responsibility, Democrats have proposed nearly $2 trillion more in spending over what the President requested and Congress approved. There's a word for this: hypocrisy. Democrats and their ultraliberal allies are now trying to stop a plan to create over a million new jobs for their own political gain. We need your help to counter them. Call and write your members of Congress and tell them that the President's jobs and growth plan helps all Americans.

Sincerely,
Jack Oliver
Deputy Chairman
Republican National Committee

BuzzFlash Note: Only the Grand Hypocrisy Party (GHP) could be hypocritical enough to accuse the Democrats of being hypocrites.
