More Bush Lies Exposed: Al Qaeda Still A "Viable" Threat, Says FBI A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS In Bush's State of the Union speech he said:
Today, it was announced that the FBI plans to send its first-ever ''National Threat Assessment'' report to "members of the Senate and House Intelligence committees in closed sessions Tuesday and Wednesday." According to sources familiar with the report, the FBI will say that "al-Qaeda still poses the most 'viable' terrorism threat to the United States" and the report will contain "electronic eavesdropping and other surveillance indicating that al-Qaeda operatives around the world continue to discuss a strike against the USA that would top the hijacking attacks of Sept. 11." (See: "Al-Qaeda seeks to top Sept. 11, FBI report to say") This begs two questions: (1) How, exactly, are we "winning" the war on terrorism if Al Qaeda is still a "viable" threat? (2) Since December 2000, when the democratic principles of America were wrested from our hands by the Supreme Court Five, what has Bush done for America -- other than dismantle our economy, destroy our environment, create never-ending war, and lie to our faces about all of it?
